Seam that at least a glimpse of advanced science is in the Bible even though Bible is not a science essay . Consider the following:

String theory:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)
(NASB) translation:
"By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible."
Earth is suspended:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"He stretches out the north over empty space
And hangs the earth on nothing." Job 26:7

Earth is rounded:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in." Isaiah 40:22
Cool. I'll be back with more. Not sure you'd call it science; But how about a biblical description of a dinosaur?
Job 40:15 Behold now, behemoth, which I made as well as thee; He eateth grass as an ox.
Job 40:16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, And his force is in the muscles of his belly.
Job 40:17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: The sinews of his thighs are knit together.
Job 40:18 His bones are as tubes of brass; His limbs are like bars of iron.
Job 40:19 He is the chief of the ways of God: He only that made him giveth him his sword.
Job 40:20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, Where all the beasts of the field do play.
Job 40:21 He lieth under the lotus-trees, In the covert of the reed, and the fen.
Job 40:22 The lotus-trees cover him with their shade; The willows of the brook compass him about.
Job 40:23 Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not; He is confident, though a Jordan swell even to his mouth.
Job 40:24 Shall any take him when he is on the watch, Or pierce through his nose with a snare?
How about the scientific principle of irreducible complexity?
Ecc 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
This is like saying that with the Hubble Space Telescope that the more we learn about space, the more we know that we don't know.
The scientific revolution didn't begin until about 1590, with the physics experiments of Galileo Galilei, followed in about 1670 with the physics of Isaac Newton. Their work proved conclusively that the physical realm is absolutely real. Before Galileo, the entire Western world, including Jesus Christ and all the authors of the Bible were Idealistic Solipsists, who imagined their subjective experience was actually real. Such people know nothing of the true nature of objective reality and lack the basic intellectual tools required to understand the first thing about how the physical world actually works. Religion operates in the realm of subjective experience and science operates in objective (physical) reality. The two disciplines are mutually exclusive. Your simple-minded attempt to equate ambiguous scripture with scientific fact discredits both science and religion. The only thing you have proved is that objective (physical) reality is far more complicated than you are presently able to understand.
Here's another one...About the water cycle of the earth...
(Ecclesiastes 1:7) All the winter torrents are going forth to the sea, yet the sea itself is not full. To the place where the winter torrents are going forth, there they are returning so as to go forth.
Evaporation over the oceans...clouds...rain on the land...into the creeks and rivers...and back to the ocean.
No. Getting science from the bible is like getting dieting advice from Micheal Moore.
Mar 10:31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
(This is the essence of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle.)
Dan 2:26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?
Dan 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
(This is the method of building modern structures: a combination of concrete columns [legs] footings [feet] concrete [clay] and rebar [iron].)
BTW, I am making this dream known unto you...and the interpretation thereof...heh, heh....
You've really touched a sweet spot here!
Utter garbage.
There is no science in a book that calls stars "holes in the mantle of night" and bats "unclean birds".
I could go on and on and on....
The bible was never intended as a science text book, but rather as "moral instruction"... you will dig yourself a hole trying to proof it's a scientific text.
If you wanted to, you can interpret pretty much any part of the bible to mean pretty much anything.
