Jajaja ! I know why it is, its because that is good for US propaganda against Commander Castro...
That´ s why Cubans are not accepted in US embassies all over the World,to ask legal immigration in the legal way makes no useful propaganda... Jajajaja!

My point is not answered by most of you, Cubans are not accepted at US embassies if they ask it in foreign countries .Cubans must escape in makeshift boats.

What does fairness have to do with it? Mexicans and Cubans aren't required by the US to come here. If our government sets conditions- they can either abide by the conditions, or stay out of America. Just as you decide when and who may enter YOUR home- our government decides who may enter OUR home, (USA), and when they may enter. Your home- your rules Our home- our rules.

The Cubans that come here do so for political assylum. They are escaping a Dictatorship led by Fidel Castro.
There are 11,000,000 illegal Mexican immigrants here who are UNDOCUMENTED. They are having too many kids for our welfare systems to support, some are joining gangs and committing crimes. They have automobile accidents with no insurance!!! Some are bringing drugs into our country ILLEGALLY. We need to do away with our old Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization and start a new Office where bondable honest persons work. For our Government not for their own pockets. May God bless you.

I think it's unfair. If you're gonna let all those damn Cubans over here, might as well let the Mexicans, Guatemalans, Colombians and everybody else in too. We can have a non stop fiesta!

Perhaps you are right. Maybe we should just accept the bigoted way we are and take back the two major amnesties we gave to illegal immigrants.

We should rule on them as unConstitutional. Remove them. Ship them all back. We should just live with our bigotry.

All several thousand different types of Americans who came here legally should feel bad and just accept that we can't escape our bigotry because we've given amnesty and citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants from Mexico and only a few thousand to Cubans.

Silly.

The Cubans are political refugees fleeing Castro. Mexicans are just looking for a handout.

You are pretty astute. Let's not forget the politics of Miami, either.

By the way, we don't give them nationality or citizenship. They must apply for that like anyone else, once they have been permanent residents for at least five year.

Actually, it's not really fair is it?

My suggestion would be to revoke that Cuban status thing and make Cuban and MEXICAN illegals just that....ILLEGAL.
(Whether the Cuban makes it to U.S. soil or not...deport them, just like we should be deporting the illegal Mexicans).
What's fair for one should be fair for the other.

The time of "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..." was a nice gesture but, it's time now to shut down America's borders....enough!
...we have enough immigrants here now...and it's ruining the country, eroding our freedoms....stop the illegal immigration...NOW!

Perhaps America would be more sympathetic if the Mexican people rebelled and turn into a communist country.

Because the US has a policy of not sending escapees back to governments that are considered to be hostile.
