First of all GOD is spelled with a capitol G and no it is not "a big joke" If you don't want to believe then don't. That's up to you, Its a shame you are missing out on so much since you choose to not believe iin God. But the fact is no one can make you believe in God just as you can't make NOT believe in God. Do you really think that the early Christians allowed themselves to be thrown to lions over 'a big joke'? Surely they would have saved themselves by admitting to the Romans that they had made the whole thing up.

This is why, there is suffering, there is evil, there is a need to be completed. This is why I believe. Without good how would we distinguish evil. People ask how can God allow murders, because if he didn't how could we know what is right, how could we know what is good. Without God we would already have used the nuclear weapons at our disposal.

Yes, I believe in God and so should you. Do you think that you wake yourself in the morning or does your heart beat because you command it too. There is a higher power than just you. So unless you want to die and wake up in Hell I suggest that you began believing in Him as well.

I accepted Jesus as my personal savior and since then my life has changed for the better, my foul mouth, my lying, my lust for women and my alcohol desires left me I did not give up anything Jesus took them away from me and my future in HEAVEN is guarantied because He paid the price and that my friend is no joke
