WAY TO GO!!! You are doing great---and don't even think about quitting your good habits now! Even when a person is super fit there are days when the body just feels sluggish. You are going to get wonderful results if you keep up the running and stay away from the smokes. You're already on the way to better health.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Yeah, you did a backslide but so what? Fitness is a journey, not a destination. You just had a bad day on the football field in hot weather. Like 90% of everyone else would have.

Yes, the combination of pizza, wings, pepsi, hot weather, and football can make a rotten day of athletic performance. In fact, runners in South Texas may run 2 weeks of slugging it out in hot, humid weather just for the joy of just one cooler or rainy day when they have a good run.

Keep up your running, eat healthy, and stay away from the smokes. It gets better. Good Luck

Staying healthy is a commitment. In the end, even fad diets to work, but they take dedication, and don't expect to see results for at least 5 or 6 months. This is the main reason why people just give up being healty. It just takes a long time to see results.

Patience, my friend, patience.

Do you know how long the effects of cigarette smoke stay in your system? Try 20 years.

Look way down the road. You probably have taken a good couple of steps forward in terms of improvement already and not known it. Keep it up, and you'll run circles around those guys.

Are you afraid that years of smoking have taken their toll and that you may be taking an early dirt nap? Fear not! You can still undo the damage you have done. Just stop eating 5 slices of pizza, continue to excercise and you should be ok. Oh and stop with the Cancer Sticks!

Those 5 slices and chicken wings and Pepsi that's a lot of cholesterol that's why you felt so tired. you should stop eating junk food and avoid the soda too.
