Have you addressed this to your guy? If so and he continues this abuse, then you need to leave him and move on. No one should have to take mental absue. If you havent said anything to him, you need to. Obviously its hurting you and thats not a way to live.

Being of the slighty older generation of man, this is nothing but control,or a way of achieving it.We had a saying way back which went the man who hits on a woman darn,t hit on a man There are some nice people out there so don,t settle for second best, remember how much your worth, not how many times you can sorry in each hour,so start looking for a decent bloke.Stay happy thank you

Probably not. I wasted 2 1/2 years on someone I am still hung up on. We decided we made better friends than lovers. I wished he could have changed and even confronting him with my hurt feelings never made a dent, as it continued. Now I'm happy and he's still miserable by himself. It's better to be alone and find yourself, than be in an unhappy relationship which questions your self-worth.

More happy than sad, but if he makes you happy all the time then what you have is a pet and not a human being as a boyfriend. You will get bored with this and move on. If there's one thing I've learned: women need drama. If there's no drama, there's nothing worth having for them.

Plain and simple. No. Hes not worth it.

Does gaining the approval of men make you feel better about yourself? So when he does give you attention/affection (on those rare occasions) you eat it up with a spoon.

Be ok with who you are, and you will then learn to not be ok with a man treating you like garbage. Learn self-worth and empowerment.

You definitely should take these negative feelings as a warning sign that something is wrong in the relationship. In this case, you might be better off alone than with someone who makes you so sad. By the way, his criticizing you could very well be abuse... you deserve not to be abused. Anyone who truly loves you wouldn't try to hurt you. It sounds like it's so bad that your health is suffering. Please help yourself. Get out of this relationship now.

No its not worth it. Don't know why sometimes it happens that people are with people who hurt them. You care because you do, but you may just be hurting yourself by being with someone who doesn't care. Best thing to do is move on. It may be hard, but it will only get harder as time goes on.

I've been where u've been , and I stayed knee deep in it for 6 years. you need to seriously start to think more about yourself than this boy of yours. When you began to realize how many men there are in the world and how wonderful it would be to get one who will treat you good the way u deserve you'll dump ol boy quick. He ain't worth it. There are so many men out there girl, and the quickest way to get a guy's attention and get him to understand he needs to treat you right, is by getting you another man.
