I want this dog. Hes a australian blue heeler and is 7 weeks old. I know how to take care of Puppies and my mom has agreed to the dog but does not want to spend the money. He is a $347 adoption fee. If i saved up that much i could pay the fee and my mom can pay for the supplies.

How can I work for this kind of money? I do not baby sit. I dont like kids, and i dont have time. I am at my barn with my horse alot. I dont think i can get money by the barn but I want this dog. How can i work for it? Im not old enough to legally get a job. So any suggestions

I think you should wait to get a dog until you are able to financially afford it. Also, if you don't have the time to work a job now, you won't have the time to take care of your dog.

Your pup will also need several vet visits to get its vaccination series, heartworm prevention, neutered or spayed, etc. What about emergency expensese if it gets sick? It doesn't sound like you have time for a puppy right now...they need you there to housebreak by taking them out every couple of hours, even during the night at that age. Maybe just concentrate on your horse at this time--horses are very expensive to take care of--does your mom already pay for the horse expenses?
