You can get waivers for lots of things, but it seems you may have lots of questions/issues that need to be addressed. You need to go to a recruiting station with a pad of paper and pen with ALL of your questions to ask. For example, if you are a single mother of three you will probably have a really hard time getting a waiver until you give up full legal custody through a court of law to another relative. Also, regarding that, the Navy regulations says you cannot regain physical/legal custody of your children until you have finished your first enlistment. That will be a minimum of 4 years. This is why you need to go talk to a Navy recruiter instead of asking Yahoo Answers all of your questions. Go get your facts straight from the people who know. Hope things work out for you.

Do you have dentures? I can't imagine anybody not having teeth. I don't think you will get in for the reason that the navy is not going to plan a special soft diet for you.

I'm not sure of the answer. I was in the navy. All I can suggest is to go and talk to a recruiter and see what they say.

You get some really great benefits when you are in the Navy and dental is one of them.

I doubt it. There are plenty with partial and full dentures. My brother recieved 60% partials top and bottom while in bootcamp in 2002. Might make eating the first coule of weeks difficult if you do not already have dentures.
