all religions (exept satanism) are based around peace and understanding of ones self and the world around him/her so why not put them together.

but power can lead us into the darkness and in the darkness we will find anger and anger will lead to hate and hate leads to suffering.

Sugur -- how do you know that the universal religion Constantine is talking about is not Christianity? According to prophecy, that, too, remains during the tribulation, and if I'm not mistaken, is the religion that is there at the final outcome. Hmmm.
You know, for this tribulation to come about, the one religion must surface. And if his idea of one religion is not Christianity, I would think that as a Christian eager to be enveloped by the Rapture you would welcome Constantine's thoughts as a means toward your end . . .

You want harmony between all religions and that is a good things, I admire that, but the fact that a few religions claim to be the "ONE TRUTH" with on proof are making it an impossible goal. Mostly Islam and Christianity.
Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shintoism, Jainism, Sikhism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism don't seek converts and are fine with keeping their religions to themselves.
Until the Christians and Muslims don't join the above groups there will be no world peace.

I think I have a better idea: Treat religion as an alternative science instead of a static truth! That way, people could live in peace, and even discuss their ideas with one another, and there would be no problem. People would also be more capable of learning about the different religions.

i think of you're mixing up 2 issues. This record refers to Roman Catholics not the full Christianity. This rport says:- "He reported that if all Christian communities have been considered, including Orthodox church homes, Anglicans and Protestants, then Christians made up 33 p.c. of the international's inhabitants -- or approximately 2 billion human beings" in reality Islam is an entire religon and Catholics are in basic terms a school of theory in Christians basically like differant faculties of suggestions in Islam like Sunni and Shia and so on.

Because a lot of religions are monothestic - the followers of these believe that it would be a sin to follow any other religion, and that it is only right to believe in that one.
Edited because I feel I may have worded the above in a way that is confusing:
Monotheism means believing in one God and one God alone. If you believe that only one God is true, what sense could be found from following another?

if you can explain how the many contradictory religious traditions can be brought together coherently, well, i'm not sure what would happen but you'd be the first to do that.
