Automatic excommunication happens when Catholics commit certain offensives. This happens as soon as the offense is committed.

Adolf Hitler committed the following offenses resulting in automatic excommunication:
- Apostasy - the formal renunciation of one's religion. Hitler specifically rejected the Catholic Church, as well as Christianity in general. He described himself as "a complete pagan.”
- Heresy - a doctrine in theology, religion, philosophy, or politics at variance with those of the Catholic Church. Nazism is definitely heretical to Christianity.

There was no reason for the Catholic Church to excommunicate Hitler. He did it all by himself.

Hitler's actions triggered the automatic excommunication clause in Catholic Canon Law.

It was not necessary for anyone to excommunicate him, but if there was, it would have been up to his local bishop.

Excommunicating Hitler would be to accept that he was a Catholic, they still diny it.

Probably because the Roman Catholic Church Doesn't believe that God is God, they believe in Mary therefore they felt the Jews were the lesser race, Probably. I just know that it is corrupted for keeping knowledge from the public eye just because they couldn't comprehend it.

Maybe the Church had other things to worry about at that moment, like worrying about the Catholics being harrassed and imprisoned under the Nazis.
