The yard stick of spiritual growth is:- when something makes one extremly jubiliant ,one should have the patience not to lose his/her balance-patience is required to maintain mental stability.Similarly when one is subject to extreme mental agony, pain tolerance is required to maintain mental balance and not break .Lord sri.Krishna in sri Bhagavad Geetha calls all the things said above in one word-mono syllable-"Stitha Pragjna"

I need to become less critical of others. And less critical of myself. I can't seem to stop looking at the mote in other people eyes. Also dwell on the mote in my eye. So I need to be patient with the faults of others and also more tolerant of others. That is to say, try to understand their point of view and why they have it.

I need to be able to wait for things that I truly desire other than the necessities. I may desire to go back to school and get certified in some field of work. I need to rely on faith to accomplish these works.
