my grandpa had a heartattack and the doctors said they lost him, but they'd keep trying to bring him back. when my grandpa was awake, he told us he witnessed this big bright light. he said it was beautiful and he just wanted to stay where he was and bask in this beautiful warm light, but someone said in a voice that you cant hear with your ears...you just know its there. it said "some day your time will come. but now is not that time"
then the next thing he remembers is waking up in his hospital bed 2 days later.
my grandpa is the most honest man i've known...he died of cancer a few months ago. im glad i know he's ok. that his time came and he is in heaven with God.

No, sweetie I understand exactly where you are coming from. I also have the same problem ever since I was a child now I am 28 years old and my fear of the unknown aka death and everything that comes with it. It's gotten to the point of panic attacks and depression and I have always consider myself a strong person and pride myself in being able to handle anything life throws me very well. But not death. Answering this question is even making me a little uneasy. I have been to life skills and to church to talk to someone to get the same answers that you want and no one could give me one to put my mind at ease and that just made me worse for a little while.
Why does it have to end and will I got to heaven or hell what if what if what if. It was pretty depressing when I had to start taking Prozac once aday to help me sleep and take away my worries. I'm not trying to promote the drug, but it has help me a lot and has allowed me to live a little more minus some of my fears

There is no proof, no matter what anyone says, it is all guess work. Since there is no proof, I can not bring myself to believe in it. So, I think that when you die, it is just an endless sleep. Your brain stops working, and that is it. You are in the ground sleeping forever. It can be hard to accept this, but I could not bring myself to believe in something that has no proof, and is probably just made up to support a religion (that is also made up)
and to the poster above me, you can't prove that something doesn't exist. You can only prove that it does exist. If there is no proof for it, it is understood that it does not exist until proof is found.

Everyone has eternal life. The thing is, you get to choose where you spend it. In heaven, with God, or in hell, eternally separated from Him.
I suggest you find a copy of a book called "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. It is a book that takes historical, archeological and bibliographical standards and applies them to the Bible to determine whether it is truly the word of God or just another book.
Once you've read it, find a good church and let them help you to learn how to ensure that you are in heaven when you die.
If nothing else, look up to the sky, tell God you don't have the first clue what is REALLY true, and ask Him if He's real to show Himself to you. He'll being nudging you in your life, your heart and in your spirit. God does say "seek and you will find." It's a promise.

That's what religion is. Its "faith" or hope that there is something better. Some will thumbs me down on this...but no one knows for sure. I don't remember my exhistance before I was born...so maybe I won't remember it after I die. I am jewish...so I don't believe in the fact that you must believe in Jesus to go to heaven. I believe that if there is a heaven and a fair, loving and just God, that he will judge my heart and send me to heaven. I really don't believe that it boils down to believing in a human sacrifice. In the Bible, Hosea 13:4 God said there is no other savior but him. So, to me it only makes sense that if God created us and loves us, he would not send us to some eternal hell. When my children are bad, I don't want them to suffer...I just want them to do right. And is not believeing in a man that lived a few thousand years ago bad. So bad, that our punnishment is even a worse sentence than the death penalty. Really, think about it....
All we can do is have faith that there is something better.

Your body is just a vessel that carries your spirit and soul.
When the body is no longer... due to aging or accident or ??
The spirit and soul leaves the body and accends to Heaven
but you must stand before God to see if your name is in the
Book of Life..... if it is you remain in Heaven. If not you
descend to Hell.

There's no proof. You have to have faith. Do not fear, what happens happens. Enjoy life, and when it is your time, it is your time, and you will go where your destined to go. Being scared, or angry, or anything, isn't going to change that. If you believe in heaven, in God, its exists. Life's a mystery, as is death, but wouldn't your rather a mystery, than a planned road that your being pushed down?

You have to come to terms with this on your own.
There's nothing that anyone can say or do that will make you feel better.
We have all had to deal with death at some point in time, with loved ones, etc...
But it's only you that can make yourself feel better about it.
It's ok to be scared, we all are when we think about it. But you can't live your life scared, or you're just wasting the time that you do have.
Good luck

To believe in God, Jesus, being saved, and going to heaven, you have to have Faith. There is no proof that God & heaven exist, just like there is no proof that they don't exist. Some believe, some don't. That's what faith is all about. Hope this helps.

everybody dies the worst part is being afraid of it...chances are you have spent way more time thinking about death than you will actually dying...
there is no proof of anything thats why its called faith..
stop thinking about it or get right with whomever your diety may be and let it take care of itself
