Your question asks about the SIZE of the solute.

The smaller solutes should diffuse more quickly because they will be more easily bumped around by the movement of molecules in the solution. Each tiny impact should move them further.

The main factors that increase the speed of diffusion are increases in pressure, temperature, and concentration.

Diffusion speed decreases with the square of distance.

That's why dffusion is a good way to transport solvents around a cell, but anything larger requires active transport.

The more solute u have the longer it takes to diffuse. The more solvent u have the faster the solute dissolves. Like an ice cube in water. The more water, the faster it melts. The less water, the longer it takes to melt.
