We should resolve our differences among the faithful, if at all possible.

We should not make vain oaths. We can and should make covenants. Our promises should be kept without making great fanfare.

In all moral choices there are balances. Last year when a man murdered several Amish children, it would have been right to stop him by any means. It was also correct, as they did, to forgive, to embrace the killers family. The Lord has said, I will forgive whom I forgive, but of you it is required to forgive everyone.

It is a matter of personal choice but I do not use the cross as jewelry.

The animals are scoffers and unbelievers. They want to destroy those things we hold sacred.

There is a basic argument about who and how we are saved. Are good works necessary? In chapter 7 the Savior says that just because we claim to follow him, doesn't mean we really do. How do we really follow him? Who really follows Him. You know His followers by their fruits. This doesn't mean the biggest church. but the church with the most heart. You know a Christian by how well they follow all the commandments. The highest being to love God and to love our neighbor.

Jesus was speaking to a disciple (not an apostle). This individual was putting a personal concern above his work for the Lord. Jesus gave him guidance that he was to put his priority in the Gospel. Today young men are sent on two year missions. In some cases when a parent dies, they are released, but usually, they continue to serve.

Matthew 9 verses are two things. First the followers of Christ did not fast while we was with them. Now it is appropriate to fast. Second is about new and old fitting together. It is about true conversion. When we are made new, we can take on the changes Christ makes in our lives. If we stay the same, the new wine spoils and the garmet is torn.

Chapter 11 means those to whom miracles and wonders were shown refused to repent. They were not converted. Even historically wicked cities will be judged better than they.

In 12 he is not talking about an individual, but of human nature. If we don't stay on the path, then we return to our old ways. Instead of having one demon, we have 7.

Daniel wrote: 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
So the end of days is to come after the gospel is preached to the whole world. It will be a terrible time unless you stand in holy places.
