Protestant = all modern denominations that have their roots from the break with the Roman Catholic church when Martin Luther 'protested' many things about the R.C. church (including the Lutheran denomination).

Evangelical denominations are a sub-set of the protestant church, who are active in sending out missionaries to non-Christians, and are also active in evangelizing non-believers.

Most Evangelical churches rely on the New Testament more heavenly, and they believe that when you sin you should go to God for forgiveness and not a priest.

Nothing they both are narrow minded groups that think they have the only answer to what happens after we die. They won't stop trying to impose their will on everybody until they dominate the earth.
NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE DIE IF ANYTHING.
