Besides laser eye surgery, there is an alternative treatment for shortsightedness consisting of eye exercises. It can reduce the refractive power of an eye and help you see better without glasses and contacts.

For more information take a look at this website:

Hope this helps!

since ur a 21-yr old girl..

u are be suffering from a common defect called Myopia (nearsightedness).

here are a few tips

Eyeglasses:

Myopia is best treated with eyeglasses or contact lenses which compensate for the elongated shape of the eye allowing the light to focus properly on the retina.

Surgical Operations:

Refractive
surgery is another option which can reduce or even eliminate your dependence on glasses or contact lenses. The most common procedures are performed using an excimer laser.

Uses Of Eximer Laser:

A.Laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) this is the most commonly performed refractive procedure — a flap is cut through the top of the cornea, a laser removes some corneal tissue and then the flap is dropped back into place.

B. In photorefractive keratectomy, or PRK the laser removes a layer of the corneal tissue, which flattens the cornea and allows light rays to focus on the retina.

i prefer that taking glasses is the best method. i suspect the other methods 2 be risky. i am not responsible for any damage

Well there is no way to improve your eyesight without some form of correction. Eye exercises have not been proven to work and no vitamin or supplement will improve vision either. Also despite popular belief wearing glasses more or wearing glasses less will not improve vision either.
You have a few different options for correcting your vision.... If you do not like the look of glasses you could try accelerated ortho k.... this is where you wear special contact lenses while you sleep and they gently reshape your cornea so when you take them out you will be able to see without any correction. This effect is temporary and the contact lenses need to be worn at night to continue the shape (almost like wearing a retainer for your teeth). Also laser eye correction could be another means of correcting your vision if you are a candidate
This is really something you should discuss with your local eye care professional.... you will need to discuss what options are best suited for you :)

The only way to not need glasses is with refractive surgery. LASIK is the most common kind for power in your range.
