I've been told of "black churches," the congregations of which are primarily African-American people.
Say you moved to a small town, alone (no spouse, or anyone with you), where you knew absolutely no one. The town has 2 churches, one a "black church," and one a white "church."
If you are white, please assume that the "black church," is better in terms of quality; nicer people, better sermons, etc....

In this scenario, society and the town expect you to attend the church that pertains to your race, but you feel the oppositte church would be a better place.
If you are white, would you go to the "black church" because it's better in terms of quality, or would you stick to the church of your race?

(Ah; if you're a different race than white/black, please swap out the "black" part with your own race. Sorry, I forgot to add that)

No, I DO NOT have "some kind of race phobia." I was simply curious as to how people felt on this issue.
