My Dr. says my red blood cell count is extremely low, had 2 units of packed cells and did not improve, he is sending me to a specialist. My bone marrow is not making any new cells, what could be the problem?

In my case, I was diagnosed with something called Aplastic Anemia since my bone marrow stopped producing white & red blood cells, and platelets. See my story: http://cbs11tv.com/health/local_story_103200817.html

Please do the bone marrow biopsy if recommended and I pray that it turns out well.

You could have any number of problems. I hope they checked you for bleeding from your colon and other area's. Sometimes bleeding is caused by heart valves etc.....
The hematologist your doctor is sending you to will probably do a bone marrow aspiration and look to see where the problem is coming from. There are so many possibilities, I think you should ask the hematologist what he thinks.

there are a number of reasons which you have a hight crimson blood cellular count selection. i could stated having your wellbeing care provider persist with up with some extra checking out. whilst the rfile. reported you had severe crimson blood cellular count selection, did he order extra checking out? Do you have heath situations at present. those issues could be a reason for a severe count selection. i'm hoping all works out properly. preserve your self! :)
