What should a person do to get a good marriage mate from Jehovah? (Jehovah's Witnesses Please)?

I would suggest reading the Family Happiness book before even looking for a mate. Take your matters to Jehovah in prayer, because it's very hard to find the right person with good standards these days (yes, even in the Truth). If you are very young (late teens to early 20s), try to focus more on spiritual goals (and read the chapters in the Young People Ask book concerning dating and marriage; they were very helpful for me and still are). If you are older and think you are more mature spiritually, mentally, and emotionally to handle the challenges of marriage, then visit different congregations and get to know some of the friends there. They can give you advice and when you do find someone, ask the friends about them. But, as I said earlier, please take it to Jehovah before you do anything else. I am in the same boat as you are, and I sometimes get depressed from being single (I'm only 22, but I still think about it a lot), but Jehovah and the friends help A LOT with keeping me focused on more important things until that time comes. Marriage is a very difficult thing, even in the Truth, so make sure you prepare well! :)

Ok. is this a trick question? If you're a witness you should know the answer, if you're not then you have a lot of work ahead of you and to find this out you need to speak to one of the witness when they come to your door. and to save you some trouble "IF YOU'RE NOT A WITNESS ", they only marry another Jehovah's Witness which is in harmony When the bible says "Do not become unevenly yoked". I don't think you're a witness because no witness would be on this site asking these questions.
