In the old testament daughters were not as important as sons so the lack of mentioning daughters is plausable. Still, sex between siblings is weird. The bible doesn't say how it worked. Back then when the bloodline was so pure, maybe God considered sex between brothers and sisters ok because that would be the only way to populate the earth. It is all conjecture. The bible is true, however, some things, I am sure, were left out. Good question though.

According to Genesis 5:4, Adam and Eve had sons AND DAUGHTERS.
Why do so may people miss this important point? In today's terminology, a brother having sex with his sister is termed incest (a legal term), but it wasn't back then.

If you believe the Bible think about this. Adam and Eve may have been created first but it doesnt mean that they were the only ones created. Just the first two.

Adam and Eve could be an allegory or metaphor about common man and what befalls them, which is basically their innate drive and desire (sin) to do what they want (pride) and not what God wants (moral law).
