We can do whatever we want - free will - but it is not always the right choice. I believe homosexuality is wrong and unnatural. In the bible it says that a man take one wife and the two shall become one. That is a union blessed by God. I am not the judge, however. You need to work this out with the Almighty himself. Here are some scriptures to confirm that homosexuality is not the best choice. Besides, with Aids and STD's running rampant - why would you take a chance. Be celibate.

Leviticus 18:22 "Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestable sin." (NLT - Old Testament)

The New Testament clearly reafirms that homosexuality is a sin that keeps us separated from God and salvation.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homesexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers--none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God." (NLT - New Testament)

God has given us the free will to determine how we will live our lives. If we chose to turn our backs on God, God's response is to let us do whatever we want--and suffer the consequences.

As you know Jesus never said anything directly about it. In the NT it is Paul who mentions it's a no no.

It is obviously "allowed" as there are openly gay bishops who are Christians.

Many homosexual Christians have asked Jesus if it's ok, and he has given the go ahead; unless you think they're lying, delusional, or that Jesus has different standards for different people.

Christianity does not allow nor disallow anything. It only requires that those who call themselves Christians accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour into their hearts and try to live a life pleasing to God. It calls upon Christians to practice Biblical principles and to be a "light the darkness" and to set a moral example of how God wants us all to live. It does not call for us to judge or condemn one another, but rather to speak the truth of the Bible with love, acceptance and compassion. Sometimes the truth hurts, but it is not Christians who are making the rules. It is God. God tells us there are things He wants us to do and things He doesn't want us to do. One of the things He doesn't want us to do is to practice homosexual behavior. Christians as a whole (there are always exceptions) speak out against homosexuality because the Bible does. As Christians however, we need to remember that not one of us is perfect or better than another, and we are not to speak out against anything with a spirit of condemnation, judgment or arrogance/superiority. That type of attitude is also spoken against in the Bible and as Christians we are supposed to follow all the teachings of the Bible - not just the ones that are convenient for us.

No
Passage 1 Corinthians 6:9:
9Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality

(me) but repentace and asking Jesus as Savior is the way , He is waiting to forgive us all if we repent.

There are several verses in both the new and old testament stating that it is a sin, along with many other things. As hog b said above Jesus never said anything about it at all, it was apostle Paul. I follow the teachings of Jesus and it is for God to judge not other people. God forgives.

According to the bible, NO.
Some homosexuals say that God loves them and that makes it OK, but they can't prove it by the bible which outlines what God needs us to see in ourselves, and surrender to Him every sin.
I recomend reading the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in the book of Genesis, (first book of the bible), they were destroyed in part because of homosexuality.
Anyone that can't find their beliefs of homosexuality in a multitude of scripture is self-decieved, and any teacher of homosexuality inside of christendom is a liar and the truth is not in them.
I'm not looking to make waves, but somebody needed to say it.

The New Testament says:

"Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due." (Romans 1:24-27)

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites." (1 Corinthians 6:9)

Nope. But then again, neither are a lot of other things, including wearing blended fiber fabrics (check your bible, it's in Leviticus, and don't tell me that it's okay now because Jesus never said it was a problem . . . he didn't condemn homosexuality either . . . throw out that cotton-poly blend right now or you're going to hell).
