Do you think a car salesman makes money enough to support his family? I know someone who rents a home and drives a mercedes van and works in a car dealership.

The really good ones can easily make 6 figures. The bad ones can't even buy their dinner.

Some make 5-10 grand a month, do you think that would support a family?

I've been selling Honda's since 1998. I earn on average $80-90K per year. I'm married with three kids, I live a modest lifestyle, I lease two Hondas and live in a $350,000 house.

My wife works, not because she HAS to, but because she WANTS to.

Most earn at or just above minimum wage. The ones willing to sacrifice all else make good money.

Depends on how well they can sell motors if youre not shifting the metal you dont earn the commision, most of their wage is commision
