Gold looks really nice with mauve. I think cream/ivory looks good, too.

silver, muted blues,eg muted navy , shades of pink but "shimmery" ... it is my opinion that mauve requires tones that "shimmer" to "balance" it eg satin, silk, etc

Any grey's, camel,cream,bugundy,mint,sea foam green,white,black almost anything in doses xcept yellows & oranges.
