I'm afraid you've been terribly misinformed, my friend, the majority votes usually always win. The majority of people are
sinners..exhibit A: The 8 people whom were the only ones allowed to board Noah's Ark. Everyone else were deemed too wicked and disobedient to God to enter this great vessel.
So, by definition, you've answered your own question.

Who said the majority is always right? Sometimes the majority rules but that does not always mean right. If you read the Bible account of Noah you'll read that all of humanity was corrupt and full of vile sinfullness. Some even had sexual relations with demons and had offspring. There was only one family, one man in particular, that still honored and worshipped the Lord. The Lord had to cleanse the world of it's evil but saved humanity through Noah and his family.

Because, the majority is not always right.
Matthew 7: 13-14,
13 Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering it.
14 But the gate is narrow and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are they who find it.
For the poster who wonders why God would let children die in the flood...because he sees the beginning of a life and the end...he knew these children would grow up to be idol worshipers, just as their parents were. If they die as children, before they are tainted with the sins of their Fathers, they will go to Heaven...so he actually destroyed the sinners and saved the children.
There are some who don't agree with this, but here is the scripture that makes me believe this is so. David said his baby son would be waiting with God, for him, when he died himself.
The one passage that seems to identify with this topic more than any other is 2 Samuel 1 chapter....after God had taken his baby son, because of his sin with Bathsheba..
"What is this thing that you have done? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept; but when the child died, you arose and ate food." David's response was, "While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who knows, the LORD may be gracious to me, that the child may live.’ But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me."

I suppose the majority is not always right. Christ had this to say in Matthew 7:13-14
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

Noah's Ark is nothing more than a Christian bedtime story to keep children in check to let them know if they disobey god he will drown them...funny how Christians claim to be god's children yet they cant see the irony in a parent that uses death as a punishment for "bad behavior"...cmon wake up and smell the stupidity in your religion!!!

The majority isn't always right. If that was the case, any religion with the most people would always be the "right" religion. Then, what is right and wrong would change depending on which religion was "in power" at that moment in time.

The accuracy of the Noah's ark legend/myth is highly questionable.

That's a myth. If you look through history, you will find that the majority is usually WRONG. It's just that we as a democracy would prefer to believe that we have the best possible system. In fact, we only have the best PRACTICAL system: A Republic.

The majority is not always right, the minority could see and reach the truth in any subject, not just about religion, better than a majority.

There is
NO
such thing as majority rule with God. He is supreme ruler and be ye holy as I am holy. That is why only 8 souls were saved in all the world then.
