I would thump her over the head with a bible and lock her in a closet with a crucifixes and a candle. Until she prayed to get out.. 0.o
I would only talk about it if she wished to.I would probably say I am sooo sorry. I would still love her. Then I would pray for her in secret if she once was a believer then stopped. But, I would still be her friend as I was before with out question.

I would approach God in humble prayer begging Him to touch my friend's heart. I would ask him to grant me the wisdom and the strength to live my life in such a way that my friend could not help but see God is very real to me. Now is the time this hypothetical best friend would need me the most. I as the best friend would, most likely, be in a position to know what had prompted this sudden epiphany.
(Proverbs 17:17) 17 A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress. . .

What do you mean by suddenly & best friend. Like we've been bible thumbing together for years and now bam, a non believer. Or I often see this person and talk with them about stuff but really have on idea what they think.
Cause what I would do is vastly different based on these condition.

It would depend if you based your friendship on God/spirituality. I know that I don't define my friendships that way, and I also try my darndest not to stand in judgement of anyone. I'm a big believer in free will, and it is their right to believe or not believe. Either way, it ultimately has no impact on me.

You can only "not" believe in something you never truly experienced.
Just continue to be her friend and pray that God would reveal himself to her heart in a powerful way. He will.

I'd still be their friend. But I'm sure you'd rather hit them over the head with your buy-bull. Free will/personal choice is not acceptable to most Christians.

I would tell them it was about time they came back to reality...i'd be glad they finally stopped blindly believing in something that isnt any more real than Santa, or the Easter bunny...

id say good you dont need him/her anyway, but if they did say that youre not going to be there friend anymore? just because of their beliefs? i dont think that makes a very good friend.
oh yeah heres to all you god lovers who said/will say something along the lines of hit them over the head, beat them stuff like that, well thats a very common way wars are started.
