I got a tattoo on Thursday evening. It's about 3 inches wide. It's two lines of a song, written in black cursive writing. The artist did not show me the transfer paper before putting it on, and once the paper was on and centred and all that I had a hard time reading it upside down. This is my fourth tattoo and I got all of them done at the same shop, so I figured I didn't need to examine it with a magnifying glass, you know?
Anyway, the last word is supposed to be 'cries'. Instead, it says 'dies'.
I took an Xacto knife and cut away some of the skin that the wrong letter was on, so hopefully when my skin heals the letter won't be there. What else can I do?

For the knife thing, I was thinking that since it was still so new if I got rid of that part, when my tattoo healed there wouldn't be much of the screwed up letter to fix, you know? It might be a bit scarred but I could live with that.
Anyway, I'm not touching it now. I know I can go get it lasered off, but I think what I was asking more is...CAN they fix it? I'm not sure that they can. And really, it's more my fault for not checking it properly.
