The Holy Spirit speaks to those who rely on Him to guide them. These people are believers in Jesus as The Christ and are anointed with The Holy Spirit through baptism. This is the Comforter.

Our Lord affirmed the Helper would be sent "in MY (Jesus) name. John 14:26. But no Muslim believes Mohammed was sent by Jesus in His Most Precious and Holy Name.

Comforter, Helper Jesus would send would not "speak on His own authority" (John 16:13), whereas Mohammed constantly testifies to himself in the Quran (Surah 33:40)

Comforter, Helper would glorify Jesus (John 16:14) but Mohammed claims to supersede Jesus, being a later prophet.

Jesus also asserted that the Helper, Comforter would come "in not many days" (Acts 1:5), but Mohammed did not come until 600 years later.

Jesus also said that The Comforter would be in you. How could Muhammad do that?

God Bless.

The Holy Spirit speaks frequently not only throughout scripture. Such as in Matthew 10:20, where He speaks with the hearts of men, or in I Timothy 4:1, where he speaks to the entire church with a warning of the future.

You yourself quoted John 15:26, where it explicitly states that the "Comforter" is the Spirit of Truth, and not a "human being" or a "prophet".

Muhammed is NOT the Comforter promised by Jesus. Rather he is who Jesus said he would be "the Spirit of Truth".

The "comforter" (holy spirit) lives within the soul of the Christian-no one else. Thats the heart of the "New Covenant" "...Christ in you the hope of glory...".
The holy spirit speaks to non believers from within. It is the holy spirit that convicts of sin. When the holy spirit speaks to you-that is God, in your spirit-speaking directly to "you". If you ignore the promptings of the holy spirit-then you are ignoring the only thing that can save you. When your grace runs out (who knows when), its over for you. God no longer attempts to change you. He will abandon you.
The holy spirit came at Pentecost. It is recorded in the book of Acts ch 2. The holy spirit is not a human being, but is the spirit of God. He is here now.

Muslims are desirous to tutor muhammad's authenticity as a prophet of the Bible Gos, Jehovah. They consequently see him in verses that have fairly not something to do with muhammad. Jesus needless to say reported that the Comforter He replace into conversing approximately replace into with them on the time and could be IN them afterwards. fairly muhammad wasnt with the Apostles at that ingredient and he replace into never IN them. John 14:17 Even the Spirit of reality; whom the international won't be able to get carry of, using fact it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: yet YE know HIM; FOR HE DWELLETH WITH YE, AND would be IN YOU. "comforter" is not a prophet.
the "comforter" is the same as the "advocate" or holy Spirit.
Who is the third Person of the Trinity, as defined in the Nicene creed.
As you pointed out, the Comforter does speak out in "voice" as a human can hear it. He speaks distinctly of the Father, through the Son.

The Holy Spirit is God, as well as the Father and Jesus the Son. He speaks in the Bible. He speaks to us through other people and through circumstances. If you feel convicted when you've done something wrong, that's the Holy Spirit speaking to you.

The Holy Spirit speaks in many ways and through many people (but be careful who you listen to!). The question is:

Do You Listen!?
