Pastel shades. According to psychology , blue and green are the most soothing colors. I personally like shades of rose and pink, that's the color scheme in my bedroom.

Very light green or light blue should do it. Avoid saturated reds and orange. They will jar you.

Go to a place like Home Depot and look at the color sample chips they have. Get ones you think would be soothing. Bring them home and stare at each of them until you have a pretty good idea of what you want.

You can get a small sample can of paint mixed to the exact color that you want at Ace hardware or Sherwin Williams for about $4. Paint a small area with it and see if you find it soothing enough. If so get enough to do the room.

Yeah, I would have to go with light green colors definitley. Definitley light colors. Or, does like the colors of the ocean soothe your mood? Because you could do like a blue-ish green-ish color, though not if it gets you seasick!
