I just got my lab results and it says that i have a 0.53 lymphocytes but the normal value is 0.20-0.40...I am 13 pt. higher than the normal value..could someone with the same result or anyone who has an idea enlighten me with this stuff? thanks!

You cannot take one reading in isolation.The history ,examination and other blood results are important.As is your age.
discuss this with your doctor who has all the relevant facts.
In general terms a raised lymphocyte count may indicate a virus infection

A slightly elevated lymphocyte count means nothing. It could be normal for you or your body is fighting an infection. I hope you did not order this CBC without a doctor's note. Go to the doctor a get a full check-up and make sure he checks your lymph nodes and get a urinalysis also. You could also be simply have a urine infection. Good Luck

that is not all that high a reading, and can be a result of a cold or virus that the body is fighting at the time. But one isolated result like that doesn't mean much. Suggest you ask your doctor what it means for you personally.
