She has no control over the voices. The best thing for her to do is to take her medication so she doesn't hear voices at all.

Yes, some people do hear positive voices and they are fortunate. I have found frequently that medications are effective in changing the content of what voices are saying by changing the negative comments to positive. Researchers are still unsure of why this happens. It is more important how an individual learns to cope with the voices rather than what the voices are actually saying.
Sometimes medication is able to eliminate voices altogether, however, more frequently it reduces the volume of the voices, the frequency/intensity, and also effects the content of what the voices are saying. It sounds like the medication is working, however, with the current options available this may be the best the medication is currently able to help your friend. The psychiatrist may want to try a different medication, however, this is up to your friend and her psychiatrist.

I have looked at a few sites about schizophrenia and they only state that hearing voices is a sypmtom. They do not state that the voices must be negative or demanding
I have a friend who is schizophrenic and he has conversations with his mother who has been dead for quite sometime. They are not negative converastions. He also has positive conversations with Paul Stanley from Kiss.

Schizophrenia and suitable problems inclusive of Schizoaffective affliction can selection lots. whether a provider canines may be needed, efficient, or perhaps risk-free might count number lots on how her warning signs influence her. Schizophrenia is a psychological wellbeing condition, yet no longer all people with the affliction is plagued via it to the extreme that they may be legally seen disabled. on the different extreme, a man or woman may be so affected that they are not waiting to deal with or shield a canines and require finished-time care via persons. ideally, a man or woman who desires a provider canines is smart and self sufficient adequate to deal with and shield the canines, yet is likewise disabled adequate that they want help with events of every day dwelling with a view to function, and those desires won't be able to be met via different ability. A provider canines fills a gap that should in any different case could desire to be crammed via dependence on yet somebody else. it particularly is a consumer-friendly false impression that all people with schizophrenia is "loopy" or violent. That merely isn't real and isn't any longer a honest assumption to make.

There's apparently no way to control what the voices say--it would be like trying to control what you dream about at night.
The only thing that can be done is to take medication that stops or at least decreases the hallucinations, or just try to live with them. I honestly don't know how somebody can stand it--it must be terrible.

Yes, it's called being clairaudient; however, I would wonder at what she is being told to do...if she is being "told" to do things that aren't necesarily "bad" they could be trying to guide her or some such.
What you want to be careful with are voices that are TOO POSITIVE or they speak sweetly -- those are "bad" voices because they talk sweetly to gain your trust then when they have it they will tell you something that will make you react in a frightened manner -- and of course you "trust" them because they've never lied and talked so sweetly right?
That is how they 'win' and get in and start to take over and cause you to have fear and panic --- if you don't make them go away you can have problems for the rest of your life.
Most "positive" voices aren't always going to be in a good mood and that is ok...most humans aren't always going to be in a chipper mood either...they have normal reactions to their surroundings.
The main differences between being schizophrenic and "psychic" are the ability to know that the "voices" are on the "other side" (i.e. dead, passed over, physically challenged, etc) and the ability to make good choices regardless of the "bad voices" telling you to do "bad things".
Medical doctors will not necessarily make the distinction between being schizophrenic and clairaudient -- they can in fact fall into the same catergory.
I've been clairaudient since birth and been 'ordered' plenty...but mostly my 'orders' tend to lead me to places where I need to help somebody -- either physical or non-physical.
To get the "positive" voices; you need only to ask for them...tell the others that you will NOT listen to them and they need to move on; that they are not allowed to remain in your space, etc.
Maybe you don't believe or you do; but then ask for your guides (guardians) to help you --- they only help; they can't keep the bad ones away...you have to make that decision; they can only help keep them away after you've asked for their help.
Generally, when you've made contact with your (your friend) guide you'll get a 'chill' sensation or goosebumps -- they're touching you and telling you that you've been *heard*.
If your friend is interested in exploring the option that maybe there isn't anything "wrong" with them and they only need understand what is going on there is a book called "You are psychic --the free soul method" by Pete A Saunders (not sure on the spelling) -- it can be found at amazon.com for cheap.
The book explains on a scientific level how the body works and picks up outside information, etc. One will never "get rid" of the voices completely, but one can learn to deal with them correctly.
I'm always available via email if more resources are needed.
