My questions to you :=> what is do you consider as immorality not influenced by your faith?
My Answers:
Not all liberals are god-rejecting heathens as most right wings would like to emphasize (just a fact) and not all republicans are god-loving (another fact). You have been brought up to think a certain way. Judging by the details of your question, it suggests that the 'liberal' idea which appeals to millions (hence by proxy you are calling all those people immoral) is utterly repugnant to you. You are already approaching this aspect of questioning with a closed mind, therefore no response but the one you already 'know' can be accepted by you.
As for evolution: Evolution, the idea and fact, was derived from painstaking observation and record by numerous individuals and groups throughout the last 150+ years. We did not evolve from the so called 'monkey's that we see in our present world'. Rather we evolved from a line of homonids that are considered to be a part of the vast 'primate' group.
The bible (depending on what version) has been constantly changing. It is not even written by Jesus, but by many others centuries after his passing. Who is to say that its message had not been altered during that time. I propose to you the simple game of telephone. Pass a message to one person, and then they pass it on to the next and by the time it has gone through 10 or more people and then back to you it has undoubtedly changed. Hence there is no way to verify the authenticity of the content of the bible or any other religious book for that matter. Therefore to stated that 'the bible CLEARLY states' is something of a misnomer.
Homosexuality: Please learn, question, explore before you post such obviously biased and wrong information. I will link you an article that is just a summary:
http://www.colorq.org/Articles/article
.aspx?=1999&x=animals
(copy and paste both lines together, as the link function does not work properly)
It says that homosexual behaviour has been noted in multiple species of animals from mammals to reptiles. It is not as uncommon as people claim it to be because they either see it and discount it immediately or they will be stubborn and refuse to see something that is clearly staring them in the face.
In the end however, it is not your right to determine what others can say or think, anymore that it is their right to take away from your own personal thoughts, opinions and beliefs.
We live in a 'free' world where everyone has the right to express themselves, and to impeach on that right goes beyond religion and state. As humans, we should practice humanity, extend the privilege of freedom of thought to others.

First of all, "liberals" don't all believe in evolution. There are many "liberals" that believe in some form of Christianity. Liberalism is a classification of a type of people that is not based on religious belief of one form or another.
Most people who believe in evolution do so because they have looked at the scientific discourse on the subject and satisfied themselves that it is sufficient to warrant acceptance. I'm sure you feel the same way about the Bible. You've looked at it, hopefully compared it with alternatives and come to a conclusion of your own.
Regarding your comment on homosexuality: Again, people who support gay rights do not necessarily state that homoxexuality is "natural" (although some/many do). Instead, they usually believe that people have a right to choose their own actions as long as such does not infringe on the rights of others. And BTW, homosexuality has been documented in MANY species other than humans although (as I understand it) bisexuality is more common in non-human species.

Whoever told you liberals are trying to impose immoralities on the rest of society was lying to you one 2 counts: Liberals believe in LIBERTY, that is, people should be allowed to make their own life decisions for themselves; allowing people to live their own lives is a MORAL, not and immoral stance.
People who try to force everyone else to think and do what they think are immoral.
Thus, liberals aren't trying to force everyone to be gay (for example), we just think that other people shouldn't tell everyone else how to live (which is what the religious right are trying to do, force everyone else to live by their immoral code).
So the question is, why do many Christians want to force their immorality on the rest of society?
Liberals believe that education is a very good thing, both for the individuals educated, and for society as a whole.
We do not value ignorance, but knowledge.
This includes knowledge of science.
People who hate science, knowledge, reason, evidence, fact, and reality should not be allowed to keep our entire population in ignorance.
You may choose to be completely ignorant of all knowledge; nothing we can do about it.
You do NOT have the right to prevent all children from acquiring knowledge; to keep all children ignorant of science (or history, or psychology, or anything else).
Um, there have been gabunches of documented cases of homosexuality outside of the human species.
But then, you being someone who hates evidence, fact, reality, truth, or reason, you wouldn't be expected to know that, would you?

I am not a liberal but I truly think that after every election we are put in the position the country and people deserve..... Look how far out the church is anymore and with tolerance being pounded in the biggest parts of our children's lives it is no wonder why a liberal generation is rearing its ugly head.. Not to mention illegal immigrants coming here and bringing their liberal mentalities here and voting illegally! I realize not all of them are lefties but there is a growing population of them!
As the church wants to be separated from politics and so on my understanding is that they should go hand in hand, but first you need noble and trustworthy men! I think they are hard to come by anymore at least President material.
As for homosexuality I think for the most part it is choice on the participants part of the lifestyle, but there are cases that I believe are caused by generational curses or medical problems..I don't agree with or condone it at all ..I do feel strongly about freedom and the right to choice in this particular situation . If that is what floats your boat so be it ! Just keep it to yourself and be discrete about it...
Liberalism seems to be on the rise and I think they will push until they possibly rule unless we raise a generation of practical thinking children that are well balanced and not so disrespectful and selfish!

Not everyone has the same belief systems that you do. I personally don't consider myself a liberal or a conservative because of the way that I believe things to be.
As for your evolution comment, all I have to point out is that it is from the Bible and that not everyone in the country has the same religional beliefs.
As for your homosexuality comment, I never heard anyone consider that as being a "natural" state of living. If you have proof of that, I would really like to see that.
However, I would just like to state that I am not against homosexuals.

Homosexuality has been observed in most vertebrate groups, and also among insects, spiders, crustaceans, octopi and parasitic worms. The phenomenon has been reported in more than 1500 animal species, and is well documented for 500 of them, but the real extent is probably much higher.
Homosexuality isn't only a human thing.
Although I don't agree with homosexuality, gay people don't bother me.
And it's not "evolved from monkeys", but "evolved from apes"... monkeys have tails, apes don't

Why do you IMPOSE your viewpoint from the Bible? I have it written down on this piece of paper here that we all came from Walmart. Does that make it true?
I suggest that you do a tiny amount of research on your "no documented evidence of homosexuality" generalisation. Here are MANY examples solely amongst primates. You could check out any of these sources if you so wished.
"Homosexual mounting is, in fact, "common in monkeys" (Edwards & Todd, 1991) and has been described in detail in many species, including rhesus monkeys, stumptail macaques (Mitchell, 1979, pp. 134 &142), Japanese macaques (Mehlman & Chapais, 1988; Mitchell, 1979, p. 416) and others. In a study of stumptail macaques in captivity, 23 of the 143 sexual encounters observed by Chevalier-Skolnikoff were female-female, often resulting in orgasm (Small, 1993, p. 141).
While comparatively less common in "higher" primates (Edwards & Todd, 1991) homosexual mounting has frequently been observed. Male-male mounting in the great apes has been described in chimpanzees, bonobos, mountain gorillas (Wrangham, 1986, p. 367; Yamagiwa, 1987; Yamagiwa, 1992; Edwards & Todd, 1991) and pygmy chimpanzees (Savage & Bakeman, 1978). Male-male mounting in lesser apes (siamang and gibbons) has been observed in Hylobates syndactylus and Hylobates lar (white-handed gibbons) (Edwards & Todd, 1991).
In many primate species same-sex mounting is far more than incidental and should not be dismissed as an unimportant aberration (Small, 1993, p. 143). Female bonobos have been observed to choose genital-genital rubbing with another female over copulation with a male. During one season in which 58 bonobo females were observed, 45 "engaged in homosexual activity" and some were exclusively homosexual (1993, pp. 144-145). Yamagiwa observed 98 homosexual mountings in male mountain gorillas; these were both ventro-ventral and dorso-ventral encounters (Yamagiwa, 1987). Well the Liberals are a part of society too, and we live in a democracy not a theocratic state. I'm a Christian, but I realize that I can not violate the rights of others. Even God gives each person the right to exercise their free will.
If so much in this country is going in the wrong direction, then we as Christians have to be that much stronger and dedicated to living a good, purposeful, meaningful life, not just for us, but so that others can see our light as well. Sure, preach the Gospel and live the Gospel and do what you can for others, for our country, and after that.... have faith in God that he is in control.

Evolution is a fact. It is the role of the education system to educate children on the facts. The Bible is unvalid, full of hyperbole, and writen thousands of years ago. If you'd rather your children are taught to believe in Noah'Ark rather than sience, then they have my sympathy.
Homosexuality exists in other species too.
Liberals care about individual freedom and being able to think/say/do what they like. Unlike the Christo-fascists.

Why do conservatives feel that they have the right to tell everyone else how to live their lives, even when it doesn't affect them? As far as I'm concerned, the Bible is a work of fiction written hundreds or thousands of years after the events in it supposedly occured, so I don't think I should live my life based on what's in it.
And, dolphins are documented to have homosexual sex. Why can't the religious right accept scientific evidence and empirical data that refutes the Bible?
And, why can't you use proper grammar? It should be "Liberals just don't make ANY sense."
