I'll answer the part on war. The rest is for you to decide where you feel comfortable. For me it is having Christ not membership in a earth church.
This is where I am going to differ from a lot of my brothers and sisters. I do not think that many if any wars were fought over religion. I think you have a small group that is coveting something of their neighbors. It may be oil, land or something else they see of value. This small group then claims it in the name of God so that religious folks will support them. I have seen too many wars in my days. But that is not to say that all wars are bad. When you got someone like a Hitler out to destroy a group of people then it is our fight to help our brothers and sisters. You have to pray for discernment in these matters. The easiest way to see this is to see if anyone is to profit off the war.
Yours in Christ

There is one thing you have not realized that will snap things into place. Most of these religions (99%) are the same--false! They are Christian in name only. Most of their beliefs do not come from the Bible but from pagan origin. Trinity, hell fire are of pagan origin. They take individual sentences from the Bible as proof of the beliefs but ignore the rest.
"God is happy when He fight confused people." These are all your words from your question, so you said them. It is not what you meant in any way. That is what these false Christians do.
God is organized in every thing He does. His son, Jesus, organized the early Christian congregation before they were even had a name. Jesus showed his Father has a favored way of worship. It is the only way He accepts. Your job is to find that one way in the midst of all the pile.
To set you on your way, the true one would follow only the Bible, no man-made beliefs allowed. Examine each or a group by their beliefs. If the Bible does not support it, move on wiping your feet in the process. It will be small and hated because most people prefer lies if it makes them feel good and hate it when somebody lives by truth. It stabs in pain the people seeing others live a different way than the crowd.

Truth is exclusive by definition. I would be rather leery to follow a belief that doesn't claim to be absolute.
There are absolutes in every facet of physical science. The universe is governed by perfectly tuned constants and laws. Why is it so hard to believe that there is a spiritual absolute?
No two religions can both be right because no two religions agree with each other on every point. One belief system has to be the absolute truth, and any other religion is simply wrong.
As to fighting, the only physical fighting that has ever taken place is between Islam and Catholicism (not Christianity).

True Christians (not catholics) don't say that their religion will get anyone, anywhere. They say that Jesus can give salvation, but it isn't about listening to some hypocrite every Sunday morning or some pedophile giving a Satanic hand gesture right after giving a blessing, or kneeling down to pray to a direction ... it's ridiculous that so many religions have gotten to the point where it's more important for them to debate who has the best MAN-MADE rituals, rather than how they can share the Good News with the world. Beware the letter to Ephesus, Revelation 2:2-6.

Jews do not believe that God is just for the Jews. Jews believe that non-Jews get to God by following the Noahide laws, and there are only seven of them.
Christians and Muslims, however, do no have this belief, so you are 2/3 accurate. Christians believe that non-Christians are denied access to God, and Muslims believe non-Muslims are similarily denied.
Depending on whom you ask, replacing God with Jesus could be construed as blasphemous, so it's not a sure-thing for Christians, in the context of Noahide.

Very few people can go thru life without some support.
What better place to offer support to those in need or to draw strength in times of need than at a church?
God said wherever two or more are gathered, I am there.
Confusion is part of the human experience, and God does not want people to fight, the people that do are not hearing God's word, only what they want to hear.

If you have been blessed, you want to share it with others.
I am content in what I believe, and I do not try to force it on others, nor do I condemn others for believing differently.
That said, there is only one right way, and for over 1200 years men who had been called by God to have a relationship with Him have written what God has placed on their hearts.
Then at the culmination of that period, He sends the promised Messiah to save the world from sin. It is all in the book written by these 40 men whose lives God has touched.
I speak about these things to anyone who shows an interest, and I do not speak about them to people that show no interest, however in a mixed group where some have interest and others don't you have to choose one way or the other, so I choose to speak about these things to those who show interest and the rest can pass over the post, or just do their normal thumbs down and move on. When they give a thumbs down all they are doing is saying they disagree with my opinion which is OK with me.
simbha_07, the big three are the United States, the U.K. and Russia; or is it the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; No, I guess it is Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Have a great day.
Sophie, was the thief on the cross baptized before he died. Jesus said he would be in paradise with Him. The only requirement is that he believe in Jesus and His Father in heaven. Read John 17:3.
Daniel A: Zionist Pig, the current fighting in Iraq has been mostly one branch of Islam against another branch of Islam.
AdoreHim, in John 17:21 Jesus said to his Father:
20 ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
It is the 'being one with us' that allows us to be one with God.

Samantha24...
You do not need to belong to a man made "denomination" or "church".....If you have Jesus as your Savior and the Holy Spirit within your life you have God the Father....and if you have God the Father and the Holy Spirit, you have Jesus.... and if you read and follow the Scriptures to the BEST of your ability...looking to God as number 1 in your life, then you are blessed by God as a child of His.
The "TRUE" Church is simply the Body of Christ..... Whether you arrived into the "family of God" through God Himself or through Jesus, you are "ONE", because Jesus came so that there were no more lines being drawn about whom was Jew or Greek, or male or female...if you love the Lord and seek to follow His Will, we all are as one.
Unfortunately, there are false spirits and false gods.... some know this and still follow others follow blindly.
God loves them all...and wants them as HIS.... in THIS is what you find "hate the sin, love the sinner".... We whom are of God's children want to do God's Will... and God's Will is that as many as possible be brought to Him to be cleansed, saved, blessed, and loved.
Peace be with you :)
* We ARE to have fellowship with other believers... but, YOU and I are each our own "temples" where we worship, so, even alone we are NOT alone...lol...but, whether it be a home based prayer meeting or finding a church with Bible ways and Spirit is the choice for we need to support one another through thick and thin. :)

Theo answered my question of 'What are the "big three"?' by saying it's Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Why is Judaism one of these? I can understand that by historical measure it is important in the development of Abrahamic religions but the number of adherents today is overshadowed by many others. Not trying to go on a rant (or bash Judaism - far from it). But in order to have an intelligent answer to this question, I think it's important to clarify.

James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 1:20-27 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
20For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
