What does it take to enter the Kingdom of God?
Jesus said here's how to have eternal life: to KNOW the Father and Himself (John 17:3).
Jesus told the folks in Matthew 7:21-23 he didn't KNOW them; even though they were good people (cast out demons; prophesied) [sounds like good church people to me]. Only those "who do the Will of my Father."
KNOWING God/Jesus is the way to get to Heaven. It's a personal relationship. A real KNOWING him.

First the subjects of the kingdom need to know the King. Read the Bible, the Holy Scriptures are the Word of God.

John 3:3 Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 10:1 , 7 Jesus is the door to the kingdom. Meaning to me the only way into the kingdom is through and because of Jesus. The only way in is if we are forgiven of our sin. To be forgiven we need to repent (born again). We can only be forgiven because of Jesus death (why he is the door).
I'm not trying to preach but this is how I explain it to myself.

You get into the kingom of heaven by the New Birth, Because the kingdom of heaven is within each true Born Again believer.

you are already in there.
you dont have to do anything buddy.just believe in Him that He is the Son of God and that He came to earth just to save you and believe that HE is the only One to give you eternal.
Trust Him unconditionally. Dont believe blindly because ppl say so.
invite Him be with Him and let Him take control of your life

Repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and make him the lord of your life. Salvation is a gift, paid for by the shedding of blood by Jesus Christ. Read John 3:16.
