Interestingly enough, the same polls indicate that the majority of people believe in evolution. Not everyone who believes in "creation" automatically rejects the idea that evolution is the process by which God did his creating.

There are multiple theories about what drives evolution. It was taught long before Darwin, including by the ancients Greek in 800BC. One of the tings they debated was HOW evolution happened.

Darwin proposed "survival of the fittest". His theory has been revised several times, and is today seen as only a small part of the process. Other purpose that sun spots or other types of radiation may be the force behind evolution. Still others reject any driving force, and teach it is totally random.

Many creationist believe that the force behind it is God. That he designed the DNA, etc., so that over time intelligent human life would emerge. Facts like humans and primates sharing 95% of the same DNA neither supports or denies a Creator starting or guiding the process.

So when you see a poll that says half of all American believe that God created, it is not a reject of science, eduction, or anything else. They merely look one step further back then science (or ever will) go, and see that God started it all.

apparently adequate, the comparable polls point out that maximum folk of folk have faith in evolution. no longer each and every person who believes in "advent" quickly rejects the thought evolution is the approach via which God did his coming up. There are dissimilar theories approximately what drives evolution. It became taught long previously Darwin, consisting of via the ancients Greek in 800BC. between the tings they debated became HOW evolution exceeded off. Darwin proposed "survival of the fittest". His theory has been revised various cases, and is immediately seen as in straightforward terms a small part of the approach. different objective that solar spots or different forms of radiation may be the rigidity at the back of evolution. nevertheless others reject any driving rigidity, and teach that's thoroughly random. That number doesn't surprise me.
It's not an indictment of our education system. I think educators do the best they can. That kind of brainwashing takes place at home and church. A child isn't going to believe what he's taught in school if his parents and pastor have told him not to pay attention to what the teacher says because it's all lies being spread by the devil.

And about 80% believe in God. That other 30 % are called theistic evolutionists. That means that only about 20 % of the population is in control of the education system. And they are in a position to FORCE their atheistic opinions on the rest of the population.

And yes, you did NOT define education.

It says that half the people in this nation are idiots.

Edit: sisterzeal; I don't think Paul was brought up on assault and battery charges... Dr. Dino, what a joke, someone who couldn't even get a degree from an accredited university. Even Answers in Genesis and Answers in Creation have made statements against him. When creationists state that your arguments shouldn't be used by other creationists, you know you have a problem.

That scares me that "nearly half reject the theory of evolution." Guess we'll have to keep giving all the scientific jobs to immigrants, or outsourcing them...

People know better than to listen to the
brainwashing macro evolution false claims!

Science is too small to study the origin
of life - life is, overall, a mystery to science!

Polls conducted with 20th century technology are pretty much invalid. We honestly have no idea what the majority thinks in the US, as phone polls do not reach cell phones or those on the do not call list.

If you are employed, have no landline or are on do not call, you're not polled.
