The sound of scriptures being recited/read can be very different than the teachings of those scriptures.
It sounds pleasant and beautiful. But that doesn't mean every teaching is ALSO pleasant and beautiful.
BTW, you cannot prevent other from making "rude" comments. We all are free to express our thoughts.

voiceorreason, it is correct that the only Quran is in Arabic and this is why it has been preserved. However, it is ok to read a translation,. If you contact me and are really interested in one I can send you two different ones. Anyway inshallah we all learn more and more...

I've read a couple of translated surahs. I'm willing to look into it, but I need translations (althought technically its not supposed to be translated I think).

My opinion approximately Muhammad would not count number one iota; purely what Jesus Christ says: John 8:24 - "I stated hence to you, which you shall die on your sins; for except you think that i'm He, you shall die on your sins."

Awwww. It sounds almost like when my 6 year old cousin read the whole Necronomicon in Greek and summoned this worm creature that we had to kill and burn. Brings back such memories.
