Love is giving of yourself without expecting anything in return. Love is action, not a feeling. You can love someone and not like him. Jesus said to love your enemies. He didn't say to like them.

LOVE as considered, is not the action or a verb as used.It is pure state of inner being.It is not related to any outer object but the innermost self.It is not giving taking or some sort of relations but the purest form of natural state of oneself.
It does not except anything but always eager to give , to help - joyously. One who LOVES or in LOVE gradually becomes happier & happier.

Love is an expression of liking. love may be to another human, pet, animal, flowers, plants, trees, birds any living or non living things, present on this earth or outside. We are all surviving due to love.

Love is a decision to unselfishly do what is in the other persons best interest. In other words it is not a feeling, but an action that benefits the other.

to be happy.....and to have some1 that u can go to anytime and they won't judge u..they will only listen and help u as much as they can..to live ur life as happily as can be w/ that person..the y would always want to be around u and nothing else.....and when u see them u will see or hear nothing but them and u get butterfly's in ur stomach..its u and him/her in ur would no 1 else can break that bond(unless they really really try,but if u love him/her then they can't).romance too...
that's just some things i think of when some1 says love
