How many of you ONLY read the 'red words'?

Just curious, because of a lot of people don't 'accept' words written by Paul, Peter, Timothy...etc....

I read all scripture and my Bible doesn't have red letters either.

Thank you!

I have several bibles, and frequently refer from one translation to another for study purposes. I read the whole thing in context for study, but when reading for comfort, I tend to go back to favorite books and passages. I do like my edition with the Words of my Master in red, because sometimes it makes it easier to look up a particular passage. I use it particularly when someone comes up with a verse out of context to "prove" some unsound doctrine. I do love that my 8 year old graddaughter has asked, "Is that in red, or not?" She likes to know what Jesus said.

I read everything in the Bible, not just the 'red letters' - words spoken by Jesus only.

If you understand what Jesus meant when He said that the kingdom of god is within us, you will no longer need the bible. Why, you inquire intelligently? Because you will be in constant communication with the Author of scripture and will no longer need to read, interpret and remember when to apply correctly. In case you haven't noticed, everything we need to know is not in the bible.

I read Bible to Practice what I read in my daily life..
Just reading is easy and to practice is way too difficult.
Try it.
Gives a sense of achievement, that we obey God.
God Bless.

I have read it all a few times, but long enough ago that I would need to look passages up to make certain of them.
I am very definitely an atheist.

How silly! That's like "reading" a Harry Potter book and only reading Harry's lines.

I have read the entire thing, cover to cover, several times. Four or five. Fascinating as literature and fables, but dangerous when regarded as gospel.
