Whatever body part is being imaged must be in the center of the magnetic field. If your hand is resting to your side or over your head, you will be in the machine. Wouldn't it be nice if we could detach parts and drop them off to the imaging department and pick them up when the study is done? lol Best wishes.....

no, only the part of your body having the mri goes into the machine... it is a large machine, so part of your arm will also be in the machine.

When they scan your heart do they put you in the machine or just your heart? Dumbass, get into the tube. Its good fun.

Maybe they let you stick only your hand, who knows, doctors are pusies these days. What happened to the opium/chainsaw routine?
