I posted a while back about hearing footsteps coming up the stairs and no one being there, my dog running upstairs and lying down quickly, acting scared, etc. Some posted about hauntings and other things. My dog usually barks when people are outside, but when I hear the steps on my carpeted staircase, she only runs and acts strangely. (black lab/bordercollie mix) Well, the other day, I was making toast in the toaster oven. I watched it so it wouldn't burn. The bars were bright orange with heat as usual. When the bell went off, I took the toast out and went to unplug the oven as usual and it wasn't plugged in. I was stunned. I just stared at it...lol. It wouldn't have toasted if not plugged into the wall outlet. Anyone have anything like this happen??? (And, the oven is used everyweek, never a problem with it. It is an electrical appliance.)

dogs sense this...i had two dogs who acted the same way and we had weird stuff happen in our house...two much to write about... they were friendly spirits....they just want to let you know they are there. if they were going to hurt you , they would of done it by now. our dogs would out of the blue just start barking towards the kitchen and would keep it up...some times they would stop and go and check things out and other times they would stop barking and run behind a chair and hide...just shiver....then we would sense some thing...like cold air brushing by us, or just the bumps on a wall....they were letting us know they were there. in the bathroom, shampoo bottles would just fly off the tub, you could pick them up and put them back...turn to leave the room and bam...they would fly off the tub again. this could happen up to three times in a row...i would then yell at them and tell them to stop and then it would be ok till they wanted to play again....that is just the tip of the ice burg with these spirits...there is a lot more. ...to much to write...another time

This would be most unusual and I would not have a scientific explanation. I would guess that you did unconsciously unplug it and didn't remember doing it. Or you have what is know as a Poltergeist which is rare indeed. I don't doubt you but I have experiences a laps or memory once. I didn't remember taking a pint of turpentine to the basement and looked for 15 minutes for it. I decide to look in the basement as a last resort and there it was on the work bench. I have no memory of taking it there. I don't think anyone from the other side took it there. Now the next time you make toast, glance over and see it it is plugged in. If it gets hot without the plug, then you can patent that baby. A toaster that does not need electric. You'll sell millions.

Freaky Bizarre Stuff!
I had a CD player that would not stop playing. I called a friend to come check it out. he arrived and finally unplugged it. It simply never stopped....also electric w/ no batteries. I called him to come check it out because the TV had done the same thing for months & I wanted a witness...someone to tell me that I wasn't crazy. Lol.
Old houses are strange. I have five dogs and they all at one point or another freak out on this one small area right in the center of the house.

Sounds like to me your house is haunted get a priest to bless your house, and if nothing changes move. I know this may sound funny, but I do believe in the paranormal. Ever since I was a child. I hope you have good luck with the priest ,and find out as much as you can the former owners, tenants who lived there it is a matter of public record.You might be able to find out something about your house from that. Hope this helps

Nope, can't say I've ever experienced anything like that. It sounds to me that you have some evil spirits lurking in your house. Do you know who lived there before you? It seems that there must've been something evil going on with whomever lived their prior or even prior to the last tenant(s)- don't know how old your house is, but this is what I gather. As a Christian, I believe those evil spirits can be cast out under the name of Jesus. I would go and pray in every room asking and BELIEVING that those spirits be completely removed from my home in Christ's name! I hope and pray that you have the peace that comes only from Him very soon. Blessings!

We do live in a Strange World!
I knew this guy who welded (ark welding, buzz box) and one day, he told me, without thinking, he picked up one of the red glowing melted mass of metal (say that three times Real Fast! :)) between his thumb and finger, and just rolled it around looking at it (pure curiosity)then set it down. A second later, he Realized what he had done!!!
His finger and thumb Was Not Burned!!!
This is what I do when Weird Things Happen!
Act Like Nothings Wrong!

That is unusal. No, I have never had anything like that happen to me. I would call someone to look at your house, and see what is there. It does sound like some spirit is there. But, I would be freaked out to the point that, I wouldn't have waited so long to find out, and try to get what is there, out of my house.

Hmmm... properly so there's a ghost on your place... and supposedly your Grampa Sye.. properly i for my section have self assurance that's a ghost... using fact from Hell... if there is devil there is ghosts... :) sorry i cant be of lots help yet once you suspect in jesus ... it says in the bible of real be conscious... that god fairly watches over his babies in close protection! while you're terrified of this ghost andyou are christian pray to god while you at the instant are not settle for this reality: God is residing... Jesus Christ died to your sins sins as in the undesirable issues you haave ever completed... all human beings has sin even babies who're nevertheless in the womb... there is likewise unique sin that comes from adam and eve who disobeyed god in the bible and due to that individuals over generations and generations gained unique sin... for this reason human beings would go through... finding for a wish of their lifestyles. using fact God is so holy we "sinners" can't be common inrto heaven so god made a manner and enable us to be allowed to pass the bridge that alter into broken and stuck it for us by allowing his son Jesus christ to return right down to earth and die... consequently removing all our sins!!!
