you mean the one that comes of the side of the glass or the actual window demister elements
the wire is easy to fix you just need some decent wire and a soldiering iron, splice both wires twist together (around eachother) and solder ,oh dont forget to tape up with electrical tape.. if its the elements then you can get a repair kit for it at a atuo part store , its better to do it yourself because you save money and learn stuff ..cool huh..........bye

The best way to fix that is to get another glass. A cheaper alternative is to buy a repair kit. It comes with a current carrying liquid and a little brush. You apply a tape over teh broken wire and paint the liquid on. Let it dry and pull the tape off. That will restore the element. The only thing is that it is hard to get it exactly the same size as the old wire. You can get close, but it will not be perfect. good luck.
