craigslist.com the click on the link to your city on the right side. after that click on the cars+trucks link. believe me ive been in the business for a while and u can get amazing deals here. some under 1k and they run!

You should be able to go to any auto sales site in your locality and search by price. I have done it many times and live in a small Texas town. Just look on your computer.

There should be a bunch of them on the net. cars.com and when you get there, use the 5000 as a search filter. good luck.
