The new testament also says homosexuality is wrong. It is not just an old covenant law. As for "going to hell" if a person does not have Jesus as their savior they are going to hell. It doesn't matter whether they are gay or straight. The fact that a person is gay is not what saves or condemns them. It is the act of asking Jesus to become the Lord of your life which saves you. ( Romans 3:28) If you don't do that you can follow the law to the letter and still go to hell, because the law does not save it only shows our sinfulness. (Romans 3:20) Hope that clears things up.

Its not just the old testament that says homosexuality is wrong, see: 1 Cor. 6, Romans 1, and 1 Timothy 1:10.

Well, christians don't follow "the Old Testament" we live by the New Testament and also read for more understanding the Old one. But we are no longer under the law. (but our righteousness is to be greater than the gentile)

So no I don't eat Kosher because everything the Lord has given is not to be rejected:
1Ti 4:4 For every creation of God is good, and nothing to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 For it is sanctified through the Word of God and prayer.

Now as for to judge, here it means not to decide for ourselves that one is going to hell or not, because God does great things and we are not to decide who goes to hell and who will not. That is judgement, only God know if that someone who seams to be lost may find Him some day. And we should say someone is bad because we may not understand their behaviour.

But it is also written (and that must be taken carefully) that christians are to judge everything:
1Co 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one. 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

You have loaded the question; an intellectually dishonest thing to do.

There is plenty said in the N.T. about the "pulls of the flesh" which includes such perversions of what God created and the proper use of what he created.

And it isn't a matter of who goes to hell or not, but a matter of who enters into the kingdom of God and who does not:

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Gay people make up just a small part of this group. (In case you are ignorant on the subject, "dogs" is the term used for homosexuals in Scripture).

Its not homosexuality that is the question, but going against God's plan for man and there would be no more man if we all went after the same sex. We all have sinned and went against Gods plan for our live doing one thing or another, that is not what its about, but to keep choosing yourself over God is the real sin. And as for what we eat it is written it is not what goes in our mouth that defiles a man but what comes out of it... I hope you will find peace and let go of some of our anger soon...Just because someone is gay or steals or lies does not mean that God does not love them. With a real relationship with God a person would put aside thing that would offend God to show their love for him, or at least try.

Hi,
Sounds like you are gay. Are you trying to justify your gay position by telling Christians to eat Kosher? That would be same as telling you that not only is your sexual orientation wrong, but you need to eat Kosher as well. What is your point exactly. The knife cuts both way so be careful how you hold the knife. Besides it isn't just Christians that believe that the gay lifestyle is wrong. Many former Gays that have given up that lifestyle are now saying it is wrong. How do you defend their position? And many of then aren't Christian, so how do you handle that? I'm not trying to offend you in any way here, I'm just trying to understand why you are putting your guilt or shame, or whatever it is your trying to put on us Christians. Besides, Jesus is way more than willing to forgive all your sins..... including your sexual ones, so why bash Christians? Let's face it, we all fall short of the glory of God...including me, so let's move on and treat each other with more respect than this. God bless and have a great day!

Gays are going to hell...because they are going against God's plan...as for eating Kosher....u obviosly have never touched the Bible....READ ACTS!!!...God tell's Peter to call nothing which He has made unclean...The Old Testamentt was the training ground...the setting apart of a certain Group of ppl descended from a certain man of faith[Abraham]...they needed to be seen as different from the other nations around them...Pig meat was generally used by the pagans to offer to their idols. the jews needed to mke a stand saying 'we are different'...when the New Covenant came in the new testament Homosexuality was still a disgusting sin [Romans chapter 1--read it] among other things...the book of Acts deals with the issues that the Christians at the time faced when deciding which Laws were relevant to them as Christians were not only the Jewish race but Gentiles as well...Salvation was acquired through faith not by keeping laws....Go and read the bible before u say anything else that makes u look stupid

And what ever happened to do not judge who are you to say that gays are going to hell!?

I don't judge the hearts of other people but I do point out to them when their actions do not line up with what the Word of God teaches. Nor do I tell people that they are going to Hell. Instead I tell them that if they repent and trust in Jesus for their salvation then they don't have to go to Hell.

Whether if be greed or drunkeness, or fornication, or adultery, or homosexuality, the Bible is clear that a person who practices those things on a regular basis is not on the road to Heaven.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
