we have been having a terrible summer, it is raining nearly everyday for over a month. The temperature is about 20 degrees , so wear layers and a waterproof jacket.
But when the sun does shine it is beautiful, like Tralee, lovely spot

Hello Rossy,
My wife and I have just got back from Ireland after a weeks touring in our Car, and our windshield wipers are worn out and the washer bottle for the window is empty, and all because of a lousy holiday in lousy weather, in my own Country. It rained, every day, but we did get 2 hours of very comfortable sunshine on Wednesday, in County Galway in the far west of Ireland, and saw some fabulous sunsets, for which my Country, at Galway Bay, is so very Famous for a really beautiful County at any time of the year. Dopn't be pit off for my savage attacks on the Irish weather, because it's just another thing that Ireland is famous for, there are far more things about Ireland that make it such a lovely place to enjoy a holiday, and I go there twice a year, to enjoy all it has to offer us, as well as the weather.
We have a well known saying in Ireland, and this is "if you don't like the weather just now, wait a few minutes". Then, if it still doesn't brighten up, there is a good chance the weather is in for the day, so you can still do lots of other things for enjoyment instead. where you are going to in Tralee, this is also a very beautiful part of Ireland, and you will enjoy whatever it is you are going to be at, Please enjoy my country, and tell all your people when you get home of all the fun you have had, and maybe they too would like to come and visit us too, and anyway, it's still summer-time in Ireland, and the weather could pick up, and turn very warm and you will love it even more...Good Luck now..Tony M.

Why don't you check on one of the many international weather forecast websites online?

We're not having a good summer weatherwise - it's under 20 degrees Celsius and quite wet. Bring good shoes and socks, jeans or tracksuits, t-shirts and fleeces. Don't plan on getting a suntan while you're here.

Lately the weather is crap
i suggest you bring rain gear,to avoid getting wet, even when it seems sunny there is always the possibility of rain!
