If you are a practicing homosexual you have not kept the commandments - you are guilty of an abomination in the works of the flesh.

Do not commit adultery - this is a prohibition against works of teh flesh outside marriage which is defined as one man and one woman.

Homosex is called an "abomination".

LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen

Are you having sex outside of marriage? Does being "gay" cause you to break any of the commandments? I have not found anywhere it says "being" gay is a sin. It says that a man should not lay with a man. Other than that it does not "gay bash". It says not to have sex outside of marriage in the bible. Of course that means everyone (gay or straight) who has sex outside marriage is sinning and therefore apart from God. The Ten Commandments do not hold exculsivity we it comes to biblical Law. But I understand your question. Pardon the comparasion, this is just an example of what I am talking about. but an Alcoholic is not sinning because he wants the drink. He sins when he becomes drunk on it. Desire in of itself is not the Sin. The act is. Of course there is a place where Jesus says "that which you do in the heart you have done." But I believe that just to show those of us who might say "Well I have never done that", that if you thought of it, you can not claim to be above those of us who have actually done the deed. So in conclusion; focus on the deed not the doer. Love the person, hate the Sin. Find out why you want God to "approve" of you life. You seem to be interested.

So are you putting God ahead of everything in your life?
You keep the sabbath?
The Top five commandments are the tough ones.
I doubt it. Jesus said if you look at woman lustfully you are commiting adultery. In your case it would be a man. Taking a shower is not the same a Baptism. You must be reborn in the Spirit. Since you are asking how much ungodly behavior you can get away with I doubt you have been. If you truly love God you would not want to disappoint him.

Well, being gay is not what sends one to hell, we are all born sinners, and to go to hell, you have absolutely nothing to do... The real question is how to go to Heaven?

One must repent first and follow Jesus, then the Holy Spirit (that can inspire any man) lives in us after repentence, and He shows us the state of our soul and our sins (what ever they are) and we must not only repent of them but turn from them. Many gay trully met with Christ and honestly repented and no one had to tell them of their sin (which is no worse than stealing or lying by the way) and they repented and turned from their "way of life" with the help of God.

One can obey the 10 commandments all their lives and never go to heaven (though they are not gay) because the 10 commandments don't save any one, neither does religion and so on....

And as for God, the Law is not only the 10 commandments, by the way. Everything God says in the bible that must or must not be done, is also a commandment And there are so many mentions of homosexuality as an abomination. I can state them to you if you wish.

Remember Jesus never said to follow the 10 commandments and be baptized to become follower of God, HE said to REPENT (turn from our sins) and be baptized. And walk as He did and other christians did.

Read your bible and meditate on it, if you are sincere you will get the answers from God and not the interpretation of man. On judgement day, God won't ask if you obeyed the interpretations of man or religion, but if you saught HIM and HIS will. And to God, homosexuality and drunkenness, and occult and so on are abominations, which means that one soiled with those things, and not cleaned by the blood of Christ (repentence and abandoning your life for His own will) will NOT enter the kingdom of heaven.

Do you want to follow Christ?
Do you want to have salvation?
Ask God to help you!
Be blessed
EM

The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. Just like any other sin.
Jesus also said in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven you must be "BORN AGAIN." If you are BORN AGAIN, He will give you a new heart, and you will no longer desire the sinful ways of the flesh.
Are you sure you read the entire Bible? It's very clear on this.
Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? DO NOT BE DECEIVED. NEITHER FORNICATORS, NOR IDOLATERS, NOR ADULTERERS, NOR HOMOSEXUALS, NOR SODOMITES, NOR THEIVES, NOR COVETEOUS, NOR DRUNDKARDS, NOR REVILERS, NOR EXTORTIONERS WILL INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
And such WERE some of you, but you were WASHED, but you were SANCTIFIED, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
These are all sins, and can be washed clean, if you are BORN AGAIN.

Being baptized does not SAVE you. You have to repent of your sins, (turn away from) and do not practice them. NO ONE CAN KEEP THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. We can try, but we ALL fall short of the glory of God. It is through His Grace, not by anything we do that we are saved. Although, we still must OBEY HIS WORD. We all fall short, like I said. Being a Christian doesn't automatically render you flawless. No indeed! We are human, and make mistakes, and if we could all keep the ten commandments, we would be perfect, which we are not. So, we need God's grace to get saved. God made a way out of your sin. If you reject His Word, then it is YOUR CHOICE. He gives us all free will, and whatever way WE CHOOSE is the way we will go. Either to heaven or to hell. It is not God's desire that you go to hell! He loves you, and wants you to be with Him. Many people have turned from their sinful ways(including homosexuality), and have been saved by God's grace. I hoped this helps you to understand. Jesus did not come into the world to condemn it, but to SAVE it.
God Bless

Romans 1:25-28
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.

For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions: for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way, also the men abandoned the natural function of the women and burned in their desire for one another.

Men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

! Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

No these are not in the ten commandments but they are commandments of God. The good news is that sin is sin whether it be stealing, taking God's name in vain or homosexuality and through the blood of Christ we can repent of our sins and turn away from them and inherit God's kingdom. Good luck and God bless you.

A person is not saved by keeping the 10 commandments. We are saved by grace through faith in the work of Jesus on the cross and we are sanctified and sealed unto redemption by the Holy Spirit.

While Christians will always suffer temptations to sin and may occasionally slip into sin, a person who professes to be a Christian but whose life is characterized by any of the following behaviors should seriously question whether they are a true born again Christian or merely a professor of the faith.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Being gay is not the problem, it is the act of homosexuality that the problem exists. You may come into the church gay, but as you will be attending the synagogs every Sabbath and hearing the words of Moses read (Acts15:21), you will hear that you must not do this, and the Holy Spirit will convict you of your sin, and you will repent of it, and be free from it. That is to say you will not do it, nor seek after it again.
In the meantime it is for no man to judge another on this matter, it is for the holy spirit alone.

The 'Ten Commandments' (part of the law of Moses; i.e.old testament) as we commonly refer to them in USA presently, were done away when Christ died on the cross. Remember also; the 10 Commandments were (analogy) the 'big picture stuff' not the 'details'.

Hi,
Okay I'll put this to bed for you once and for all...so listen up. ALL scripture is inspired by God and good and beneficial for teaching, setting matters straight. The fact that there are Ten Commandments is a great start, but you'll need to understand as much Scripture as possible to understand God. Jesus IS the LIVING WORD of God. The Bible is His message to ALL of us, and God's word states very plainly that Homosexual behavior is a sin. Actually it says abomination, so there it is in black and white with no gay...I mean gray area. Stop trying to justify your position. It would be the same as a Catholic priest trying to justify child molestation. It isn't of God ...Let me repeat this. It isn't from God. Read your Bible. The one you are trying to justify from. The gay lifestyle is wrong period. Not my words...God's word. Whether you like it or not...it's His word. I know you hate what I just said, but that would mean you hate God because it's HIS word....not mine. Get it! Sometimes a person has to be blinded to get the point.... jut like Saul (Paul) he felt justified in his position, but he was if fact wrong ....what do you need to get this...a blinding light? Read your Bible for yourself, and stop ignoring the scripture that is staring you right in your face. I couldn't state this any clearer for you. Hate me if you want, but deep down you know I'm right, but you're still trying to justify your sins. And if you're not gay, this will be an answer for someone that is! The problem is the Gay agenda is trying to justify their position about the gay lifestlye, and we (moral humanity) will not accept it. It would be the same as child molesters wanting extra rights because they like having sex with kids. This has to do with sex, and nothing else. If you like having sex with your own gender do it on your own time and stop trying to get us to accept your sin as normal.
