I was with this guy that likes me a lot and has asked me out multiple times lol. Anyway I've noticed the last time I saw him that never let go of me. When we are walking he put his arm around me or on my lower back. When we are standing he stood behind/in front of me with both arms wrapped around my waist. When we were sitting he had his arm on my leg or was holding my hand. Whenever he put his arms around me he would take my arms, and put them around him. When we were walking, he massaged my shoulders. At one point while we were sitting, he was holding my hand, but he had to let go to get his mobile out of his pocket. Anyway he took my arm and put it on his leg, and held it there until he was done. I thought that he didn't want to fully let go incase I moved my hand while he got his mobile.I mean I loved the feeling of his arms around me but why was he so intent of having his arms around me the whole evening? I know he likes me. Guys, why would you do these things to a girl

Public affection tells you and everyone else that he likes you, and that other guys should keep their distance. Guys are very visual and make strong connections to people and things through touch (tactile) and visual attraction. These are all good assuming you like him too.

Everyone is a little different, if you don't like it maybe he is not for you. Some girls complain when a guy is not touchy feely enough. (Won't hold hands or hug). This does seem a little much but there is probably some girl out there who would appreciate this behavior. Maybe he's just not for you.

Touching another is much more intimate than just talking, of course. He is trying to escalate the relationship by testing to see if you are going to repulse him or it. If you let him do it then he can assume you are ok with taking your relationship to a higher level. Might also be to let others know you are together.

Cause he's really into you. Would you rather a guy who pretends you're not there. I know its two extremes. You might want a happy medium? But I think your extreme is much better than a guy who doesn't give a damn about you.
