Are there hypocrites in the church? Yes, but why throw the baby out with the bath water?

Some people who claim to be Christians really aren't, but why reject those who are genuine? Do you quit using money because some is counterfeit? Of course you don't.

When Children of GOD get Together (call it church, what ever) and the Holy Spirit Moves in that meeting, that is when ANYBODY can get some Real Help from GOD.!!!

Yep, there sure are. And lots of Churches that teach their own "word" instead of Gods Word.
As the Scripture says "ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth". But "ever learning" what?
mans traditions...Church rules and regulations...etc. etc.
What Dawkins has to say instead of what their Father has to say.....

Well, as for me, I dumped the Catholic
Church and found out I couldn't understand what the heck I was reading in the Bible.
So I learned the Bible languages (all three)
and 35+ years later, I am a college-level teacher of the manuscripts.
But I was so adament about learning because I lost over 10 closest family members, fiancee, and all my pets to death.
I needed to find out where they went and
that put me on a path of knowledge that I never even realized existed. I was astonished at how different the Doctrine of God is as compared to the doctrine of the pope/church. Today, I remain astonished.

If it weren't for those deaths, I would still
be blind as a bat. I miss them, and I thank them, every day. I only hope that I am found worthy in Gods eyes, of the trade-off.

Sometimes it makes me sad to see so many dump religion and replace it with nothing; I believe we are going into the great apostasy (a falling away of ones professed beliefs). Its written that this falling away has to occur first and then it
is to be followed with the appearance of Antichrist disguised and pretending to be the true Christ. The world will be deceived.
Thats not gonna be hard, since its so easy to deceive those who are Biblically illiterate;
they don't know whats written so they can be told anything that sounds "holy" and they will buy it, lock, stock and barrel.
Since most people do not realize that Antichrist is coming pretending to be Christ, and since they do not know that he is to come FIRST before the true christ returns,
it won't be any problem fooling them at all.
Esspecially those who believe in the rapture doctrine. These folks are gonna think the first "jesus" on the scene is here to rapture them out to safety. Unfortunately, they will be taken by Antichrist. No knowledge of the Word, plain and simple.

Strange: the only ones who cannot be deceived in these end-times are those who have a working knowledge of Gods plan, as written by the Prophets of the Old Testament and Christ and the Disciples of the New. This means that those who really escape that hour of tribulation will only be those who cared enough to get into the Word of God, instead of listening to man.

We live in very interesting times; even the Prophets wanted to be alive in this generation.

I simply do not believe in Christianity, it is NOT because of some of the people who claim to be Christians, it is just because I don't believe in it.

I have met one Christian who actually treats people in a christlike manner. Even she would probably not have wasted any time on me if she knew some stuff about me. It's sad. I felt guilty saying that about her coz there is nothing she'd like more than my family to go to church. But I can't help feeling her church will be like the others in the area.

I also wonder if people can see through me and realize why i have such trouble with my guy. And if that's not part of why they judge us.

Very good point! Thank you for bringing this up. Just because there are some hypocrites in the church does not mean that everyone is a hypocrite. You don't stop believing because of some "negative" people who are not truly Christ-like.

No one can be just like christ like and that is what christian mean! I no some people act like they are all holy at church then cuss, gossip, smoke, drink, do drugs, at home those people are hypocrites. But people that try there hardest not to sin, read there bibles and dont act any different at church, they are true christians, NO ONE can be a great christian because everyone sins

Terrible analogy. the real reason is that the books that you misinterpret to base your religion on are corrupted. I know, you don't beleve me. I don't blame you, I wouldn't believe someone like me when i was a christian like you either. But why don't you beleive Jesus who you claim to follow? He told us in The Apocryphon of John that the god of creation in Genesis is satan, not His Father. You don't believe The Apocryphon of John is inspired by The Holy Spirit? Then why do you believe The Book of Revelations was? If you accept one and not the other you are not applying the same standards equally in both cases.

You can spot a TRUE CHRISTIAN by their words and actions. I have certain people in the church that I attend look down on me because I am not as educated as them. Oh well I know God loves me. God Bless.

I did this. existence is expensive. fortuitously, i exchange into able to finding an business organisation who paid me so plenty greater to tell human beings little thoughts and cover homicide trials. My touch forbade me from inflicting crime to checklist on for some reason. as quickly as the youngsters left for college, they have been required to sign a freelance asserting that they might on no account stay in our domicile for any era over 72 hours constantly. Everyone is a hypocrite, but if you are calling every christian a hypocrite. You must remember that no man is free of sin, but as a christian you should try your best to live a sin free life. Like I said nobodys perfect.
