Right now, the only car I really like is the Ford Mustang 2005 & newer.

However, everyone is trying to talk me out of it because they are RWD cars and aren't supposed to handle well in the snow. For me, I'm pretty sure the insurance will be very high. (Which is a bigger concern to me.)

I am willing to spend up to about $17,000 dollars for a used car; however if I keep not seeing anything that I like (I really hate the way all the cars look right now, and since I can't go out and test drive every car and see how it feels I'm at a loss).

I really don't want to spend 17,000 on a car that I don't like, so I might just buy a $2,000 point A to point B car, if I can't find a car that can impress me the way the Mustang has.

Aside from just the Mustangs asthetic value, I also like the fact that it has a very good crash test/safety rating.

So, is there something out there for me?

Thanks for any help.

hey my mustangs go well in the snow just get a set of basic wheels and buy snow tires for the rears and sand in the trunk. I love driving in the snow with my 89 LX and 94 GT both 5.0's and 5 speeds. just make sure you wash them weekly in the winter to keep salt from rusting the underside of the car.

i would reccommend all wheel drive , a good value would be a subaru . A sporty Subaru Impreza WRX would be faster than the v6 mustang and AWD for snow .And are priced very well and an overall good value

$2,000 car buys you problems. 5-8 thousand is a good price. The Acura's are nice sporty cars. Test drive one.
