What is your favorite brand of hair-coloring from a box?

I have had my hair colored professionally and even though it's dark blonde, all the salons make it red when I ask to have it lightened and the professional highlighting doesn't look natural in my hair.

I would be interested to know from those who or experimented with box hair-coloring, what their favorite brand is and why. TIA

ive had my hair professionally colored twice and got it dyed red but i have used the box for highlights and such so i like the garnier fructis
