I forgot to also ask, what if someone asks you, why doesn't God heal or protect everyone who has faith or believes in him?

Having a disease, being raped, or murdered, are not choices. So I'm referring to these things also.

Though many writers in the Bible complained about suffering and evil....the Scriptures make it plain that God did not create the world in the state in which it is now, but evil came as a result of the selfishness of man. The Bible says that God is a God of love and He desired to create a person and eventually a race that would love Him. But genuine love cannot exist unless freely given through free choice and will and thus man was given the choice to accept God’s love or to reject it ... choose 'good' or 'evil.' "War, rape, starvation, and more," is the result of this.

Edit: You're right, Having a disease, being raped, or murdered, are not choices. But they are the resullt of others choices. Certainly, God is capable of destroying evil and suffering--but not without destroying human freedom, or a world in which free creatures can function. How do we as Christians respond to the problem of evil? With sorrow. With sadness. With revulsion. With perplexity. With questions that have no answers ... Each of us has had wrong thoughts, evil thoughts. Each of us has done something wrong — something evil. Why does God allow evil within us? None of us deserves to escape punishment, and yet God allows escape, too. If we ask why there is evil, we should also ask why there is mercy. Let us fight against evil and needless suffering, starting with ourselves.

God is perfect and Holy. Flaw cannot be in Him. Although He can do whatever He wants, it is NOT his NATURE to do some things. The NATURE of God explains why He wouldn't do evil things. God is Good. He has a Good NATURE. God is Holy. He has a Holy NATURE. Holiness is not evilness. Do you see what I mean. It's about His NATURE. God is faithful. God is trustworthy. God is true to His Word, God is merciful. God is forgiving. God is longsuffering. God is RIGHTEOUS. Free will means the right to choose God, or reject Him. It doesn't mean the freedom to go around committing evil deeds and not suffering the CONSEQUENCES of them. In the beginning, God told man what NOT to do. He also told man what the CONSEQUENCES would be if he DISOBEYED Him. (God can do that because, well, He's God!) Man chose the evil way, anyway, KNOWING that God said there would be CONSEQUENCES. God was fair. He told them what would happen. He gave them a choice. He didn't just say, "Don't eat that fruit,"and leave it at that. Man would have been wondering why not? And he would have eaten it, then he would have found out the CONSEQUENCES of his actions. But, God was fair. He told man the CONSEQUENCES first, so that man would think about doing wrong and what would happen if he did. Man ignored that. He did it anyway. So, now, we are suffering the CONSEQUENCES of that first DISOBEDIENT action man took. The first SIN. Adam was in the presence of God, and yet he sinned, because sin came into the world via satan. Satan was kicked out of Heaven because he SINNED. When Jesus comes back and all believers go to be with Him in Heaven, it will be a NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH. There will be NO MORE evil in it. Evil will be gone! Not to worry. God will take care of things. He always has. And He always will. God's blessings on you

I would answer:

God is not the evil or injustice one, it is us the human being.
We are the one who commit these crimes and blame God for them, not Him. The Human is the one who does war, rape, starvation etc. etc. Not God.
Put the blame on the right person, and it is not God.

There is a reason for everything and everything has a reason. When crimes such as the above happens. God does not intervene for a reason. What when every time something happens, God comes to the rescue. Other people will not move their big behind and feel for other people, because they going to feel empathy toward other, and never ever care what happens to the next victim.

God gave man a brain to use. Unfortunately, some of the men with brains out there don't have the sense God gave them to do something besides terrorize the world. All men are created equal, the problem is, not all men have much more than a Michelob where the smart lobes ought to be.

God allows evil to test faith. He is not alone in the evil-doing, though. Satan is more guilty. If there were no misery then how would we know when to express real joy? Read the book of Job and that tells you alot why and how these things happen. God also allows you to go through trials to bring you closer to Him. It just depends on what we do with the circumstances given to us.

My freedom is precious to me and I want to be able to have free will to serve God my way.
If God made us all do the right thing he would be taking our freedoms away.
God isn't doing evil! man is. He gave us life, a beautiful planet and nice friends or family.
It is like a loving father who gives his children a nice home, food, clothes and a family that loves them.
He tears up his room and throws his dirty clothes on the floor and has garbage in the corner. Beats up his little sister and cusses out his father. Refuses to mow the lawn or do any of the things he is supose to do.
Is that the father's fault?
We ruined the earth, we cause war, we cause hate because of color, national orgin, or just because. Maybe religion, or our made up cast system. Anything we can come up with to feel superior to someone else.
We all are born helpless, we need food and love to live. We all grow old and are helpless. then we die.
Everyone dies? so how is anyone superior to another?

Well the world would still be the Garden of Eden if there was no evil---we have free will to choose who we will serve. When we have a relationship with Christ and we are living in the will of God and trust and rely on Him for everything, we know that bad things are going to happen to all of us--but we know that God is in control---and even though we may not like the things that happen to us or our loved ones--we know that through our "tests" come "test"imonies, and we may be able to help someone else who needs support in a similiar situation. The Bible says, "ALL THINGS work for the good, for those that love the Lord." I know it's hard to understand--but I look at it like this--God loved us so much that He even sent His only Son to be beaten, spat on, whipped, humiliated, mutilated, and nailed to a cross, for all our sins, and He could have stopped that whenever He wanted--but He knew that it had to be done for you and me. That's how much He loves us.

UH... with the exception of innocent children and those who cannot defend themselves safely, we dumb humans incite and/or invite quite a bit of the evil or unjust that comes our way.
There usually are other alternative choices we can make to AVOID having horrible things happen to us, BUT, we are "proud" and "stubborn" and don't like being told what to do, so we FIGHT what is right - that opens the door and lets the BAD stuff walk right in. CHOICE.... God did not bless you with a brain for nothing - sometimes it takes getting beat down in order to LEARN - we have to USE our heads, and use them wisely - God lets us make mistakes so we LEARN .

Satan is the ruler of this world right now.
God chooses whom He wishes to heal, and who He doesn't wish to heal. We all have trials, my friend, it is so we can be refined, and it tests our faith. He shows us over and over again in the Bible examples of this. Christians choose to worship Him because He loved us first. He made Himself a man, and came to earth, and died a horrible death, so we could go to heaven. What other god would do that for you? He could have just let us all go to Hell, but He loves us so much, that by His grace (something we don't deserve) we are saved. Jesus never said it would be easy. He only said it would be WORTH IT.

I'd have to say you are mixed up. How could I worship a god that prevents me from making foolish mistakes. Same thing.
If I and the other players don't have free will I don't want to play.
You see it as God allows it . I see it as man commits it in spite of God. Like the atheist here.
God Bless!
