Exercise enough to breath heavy for an hour a day every day of your life.
Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with lots of water and a couple snacks in between.
Count your calories and carbs or at least cal.
Aim for 1500 to 2000 calories a day.
Eat all the fresh fruit and vegetables you want, palm-sized lean meats, low-fat dairy, whole grain carbs, some nuts and seeds, and go light on the junk.

If you do all that and don't start losing weight in two weeks, see a doctor. I haven't lost weight in 20 years. When I knocked my calories down, way increased my walking and other exercise, and started eating on a normal schedule, the pounds started dropping. I look good, feel great and am never hungry. I found really good low-carb, high fiber bread by Arnold in the low-carb section. I read all my labels and stay away from any artificial sweetners, high fructose corn syrup, etc. I limit my sweets, go for yummy, low calorie foods, eat plenty of fiber and am kicking butt. You will too. Watch the portion sizes on noodles, rice, and other carbs. I aim for 27 carbs or less a meal and eat half of the serving size. It works and I am not hungry.

Best of luck.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Yes provided u do not start eating more.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

Right hold it! Thats going to far with the 10.000 steps! but yes thats true lol :D yea u can do that many steps but theres more intresting things!
Maybe run around and do certain laps around the garden and do it everyday
Only eat breakfast, Lunch and Dinner but maybe healthly
If you wanted a snack a fruit would do!
Water is also good and keep you unthirsty

Yea so do some activities like swimming?
Good Luck!

That's not the right way to lose weight.

If you are obese you will not walk 10,000 steps a day.

If you are not obese then why to use such drastic method.

I don't know your age, weight and height, but maybe you are OK as you are.

If you are slightly overweight then simply reduce slightly the amount of food.

Better to loss weight slowly than rapidly.

That will definately get you on the right track. I started dieting and walking in January. I try my best to get in 10,000 steps a day which in itself is a challenge sometimes, and to date, I have lost 58lbs. I would add to this if i were you to drink lots of water and cut out sodas. The more water you drink, the more easily you can lose weight.

10,000 steps is the recommended amount to start with, its not too much and you'll find that as you get fitter you'll easily increase this. Of course if you just stroll everywhere it'll take longer to lose the weight than if you intersperse your strolling with some power walking, using your arms as well as your legs, you'll find it works better. Try including stairs whenever you can. Eating healthily is the key, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, smoothies are a good way to start if you're not used to eating lots of these. Carrot, celery and ginger is one of my favourites at the moment!

Pump up the steps and pump iron (light weights) You might also have to add cardio to your program, about 30- 45 minutes 4 to 5 times a week.

Mustard is a secret bulge-buster. It boosts your metabolism and raises natural ephadrine, the hormone which burns fat. According to Jeya Holly, professor of human nutrition with Oxford Brookes University, just a tablespoon in your food can reduce a flabby waist by 20 per cent!
