I don't quite understand your question..
You are saying she said "you can't live off of love but you can live off of money?"
If that is what you meant..she is true. It takes money to survive. A love for someone or thing is just that an emotion.
You need a good education and job to survive in a competitive world as ours.
If you have a talent such as a love for a sport that makes you outstanding and have had a scholarship given to you to go to school to become professional is different.
If your talking about love in a relationship then most divorces comes about when their is financial problems in the marriage. Lack of funds/money can lead to worry and pressure of not being able to meet your payments and then loss of home or eviction from the apartment.
Hopefully you have a decent job and ask yourself where you see yourself going in that job. What are your plans for the future and what will you need to do to make it happen?
She is right in this case.

My grandmother staunchly believed that and she lived a miserable life. Don't get me wrong, she had PLENTY of money. But all that money sat in the bank never buying her any happiness. She lived like a miser. Her obsession with money left her friendless. She alienated her children and grandchildren. Yes, money is important for survival. Yet it truly does not buy you fulfillment. Ever hear the expression "You can't take it with you"?

This is true. You don't live on love. It takes money to live but you have to decide if you're going to let money be your god or not. There's a very delicate balance to be had with love and money.
Remember it like this, you need money to survive but it is the love that allows you to live.

Money comes and goes in our lives; but family is forever. Family, love, commitment; that's what's important; that's what will get you through the hard times.
As far as I'm concerned, money doesn't even make it into the top ten.

I say live for love...Eventhough both can fade at some point, LOVE wont have the IRS at your door, nor will the REPO man come asking to take it back. Love is priceless.

LIFE....
Everyone live there own and judge that is/was life.
Is it true for every life ?
I do not think so.
When you want to go some place, you need money for ride but if you do not have money, you can walk there possibly
singing.
money make one's life easier
but love will make life fullfilled.
Ask your mother,
what she is giving to you,
LOVE OR MONEY ?
